Periodic performance issues causing the system to slow down. At times these performance matters hit at month end when trying to get invoices out the door - making the process somewhat painful. The timecard feature is very intuitive and display is nice. I really like how easy it is to add and track projects, especially the ability to add multiple phases and sub-phases to projects, each with their own fee structures. My FAVORITE part of the system is instant feedback on time cards when billable time for a project has been exceeded.

Core also makes creating invoice and tracking payments very quick. I can get my monthly invoice done in under an hour. The system has paid for itself a few times over with the time I have saved on invoicing.

Our firm uses CORE every single day for everything from time and expense entries, to vendor bills, to organzing projects. I really like the function and filters of billing, ePayments, and project management as well as managing of vendor bills. It has really helped streamline our practices and organize ourselves efficiently. Their customer support was absolutely terrible 6 or so months ago, but since having their new CEO things have really turned around and i feel as though I can get the help I need when I need it. they are still working out frequent glitches that will hopefully end once they complete their move from one interface to another. the invoice collections area is minimal use at best. I'd like to see it built up more like the CRM with the ability to store the information of the emails sent and direct connection to the contact information of the client for ease of follow up. Do not use with QuickBooks, the Integration is terrible and caused us to send out many mistakes in invoices and lose time correcting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Core allows users to customize an interface dashboard, as their start up screen - showing up to date costs/profitability for projects, utilization for employees, and aging AR among many other options. One really nice thing is that Core is project based and not client based, which for our consultning business is much more in tune with how we conduct business on a day to day level. Previously the interface was sometimes clunky and slow especially around end of month when lots of users are processing invoices, over the past two months this has been an absolute non-issue. Additionally, previously encountered random errors or glitches which reset immediately past progress (setting up a project, applying a payment etc). This has also virtually disapeared from the interface and have had no issues in a few months.

There are still some simple items, such as more clearly grouping projects and having a single easy to read and mail out invoice/bill that Core is missing without some major customization interactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
