Cord is a very user-friendly platform with clear and straightforward functionality. Cord gives you instant access to engineers who are actively looking for work, engineers are engaged on the platform and respond within a matter of hours to a couple of days even if they are not interested in the position. I like how easy it is to build your search stream using relevant keywords and skills, so that you are only looking at and messaging relevant candidates who are relevant to your roles. I like how the search stream is instantly updated with newly active candidates daily and how quickly you can filter through candidates daily once you have set things up. I also like how responsive the cord team are to questions, queries and suggestions, they are always keeping users informed with what they are working on, very transparent and take the time to ensure you are getting the most out of your investment in the platform with tailored monthly analytics and suggestions. Cord is still growing so I can only see it getting better and better and the team adding new features as time goes on, I think the platform could benefit from adding some additional elements such as the ability to search by name, a reverse button in case you accidentally hide the wrong person, and templates recogisning when someone has already replied to your message to cancel the scheduled follow-up message, but these are all minor things which I know the team will have already thought about for the future.
