Makes adding a new appliance or camera very simple and time efficient. Also the time we did have a defective camera Coram was very easy to work with to get a replacement at no cost. It is very useful when trying to find a individual that is causing a problem or after the facto r a trip and fall. So they can see what lead up to the incident. Coram’s natural-language search makes it quick and easy to find the video footage we need. It’s saving us a lot of time when reviewing clips and pulling footage. For example, it would be useful to mark a matched face as “not that person,” and to have the ability to merge face profiles when they refer to the same individual. The integration was seamless with our existing cameras. Our rep Dominick was extremely helpful and responsive. We have it running at 17 locations and it working very well. Two items we have asked to be considered is being able to leave a comment on Alerts, so that all the individuals know what was done with the Alert. We also would like a feature to "pin" an individual to be able to track them, versus having to describe them. But overall, very pleased with the product and the support. From receiving trial equipment according to our needs, to bundling orders for multiple locations, the team is willing to work with me based on timing, financial, and operational variables in my company. Regarding the platform and products, it's top-notch. The browser UI is very similar to that of another well-known system. Deploying the NVR and cameras is simple, and the video quality and feature customization capabilities in the UI are great. Most importantly, no vendor lock in, so we have flexible options for compatible cameras instead of being stuck with a fleet of $1-$2k proprietary cameras that all need to be replaced at end of life. What problems is Coram AI solving and how is that benefiting you? Expensive vendor lock in: current system is proprietary and requires long-term contracts. All hardware is excessively expensive as well. With Coram, we can buy the devices and features that we need with flexible options for licensing terms and many compatible options for the hardware itself. Provisioning and installation at scale: Again, we can order and get what we need, have it shipped to the branch location, then it's just plug and play from there. Coram has made that process smooth. I really liked the support system they had. They were very helpful throughout the transition from our previous camera system. The NVR was easy to set up and was able to detect most of our cameras right away. The software and UI were also user-friendly and straightforward to navigate. The features were explained clearly, which made it easier for users who aren’t very knowledgeable about technology. Lastly, our tech representative Dom, was really informative through the process. I love how Coram AI is extremely helpful in analyzing post-accident issues and determining potential security concerns. It's very intuitive to use and makes monitoring our parking lots for security issues much easier. I also appreciate that it's very easy to set up; it's practically a plug-and-play system where servers and cameras plug in and connect seamlessly. I find the AI assistant feature valuable because it allows me to use regular English to create queries, turning them into actionable searches quickly and easily. I think the only thing we saw was upon initial setup was some default camera names changed around a few times when installed, but it was easily remedied after the fact, very easy to edit and correct. Managing the system and cameras through the UI is straightforward and easy to navigate. The ability to use any ONVIF cameras is a definite plus, since it lets us update our camera system without having to buy new cameras, which was very cost-saving. The Journey Path feature is especially helpful, since it lets the AI do most of the work to find a subject and follow them from camera to camera. Coram was a generational update versus our old VMS. It’s so easy to find events in our footage now versus before! The AI features are excellent as well. I also found that fisheye lenses were not able to be manipulated on the mobile app. I would need to use the full browser version for full control. The AI system helps us to find things on video much quicker compared to our previous system. We can now watch video footage and follow someone more quickly and easily, as it automatically pulls up the camera we need, instead of manually selecting cameras. This feature saves us a lot of time, especially with our busy schedule serving 600 students across four districts.
