I love to be a part of the co-pilot slack community. Any questions I have get answered extremely fast by the copilot team. They make it very easy to understand how to solve any issues I am having and they are also kind.

Since the platform is relatively new, there are some features that would be useful to my team now that are not yet available.

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

My favorite thing about Copilot is the ability to have a client portal where I can manage a large number of clients easily and be able to "text" them through the platform, instead of having to email them. I also had trouble finding a client portal with a clean design so Copilot stood out to me.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

The only downside of Copilot is it's a newer platform so there's a few features I'd like to see added to the platform but the support team has been super great about asking for new feature recommendations. It's great to have a support team that asks for user feedback so they can make the platform even better!

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Copilot is solving my problem of having to email my clients back and forth, I just "text" them inside the portal. Everything is organized and I don't have to track down emails or have seperate applications for everything. I couldn't run my business without Copilot.

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

The design is my favorite part. Copilot is intuitive, user friendly and provides all the right elements to make a portal successful for any business. I was able to implement my domain's subdomain quite easily. I had a little trouble with the DNS records for email domain connection because I wasn't clear on something but customer support was amazing in helping me. I have recommended Copilot to a few clients and one is ready to sign up. The ease of integration of other apps works great. I'm sure I'll frequently use Copilot for all my business needs and that of my clients as well.

So far I haven't found anything I dislike about Copilot.

It's providing a unified and secure place for all my processes and files.

Being my business management companion. Everything is internal and tracked. What was physical labour is now managed digitally.

The lack of features. At first it looks somewhat of a ‘beta version’. The more you use the platform  you grow to love it. Im certain, with time copilot will introduce new features and make improvements.

Electronic contracts, a place that holds company materials, a repository, billing. All of it!

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

I have spent the past 2-3 weeks reviewing platforms like Copilot, from a magnitude of pricing terms, from free of charge through to £15,000 a year for one user. I can safely say that Copilot was the sure winner, even over those asking for a 5 figure sum every year. Their user interface is simple yet powerful in it's operation, it's team are super helpful, they are continiously adding development to the project and I feel that the experience for a client is the most professional. 

Every aspect of integration of wanted to achieve has been done in minutes. Plus the simplicity and automation this will now provide my startup business is unparalled, really giving me value from the outset. 

I'm in the technology industry, working as a consultant, so I can always admire businesses that offer a fantastic service in this sector. Kudos. You've got a very happy customer.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

I have not found an aspect I dislike yet. I think the only comment I could make is that it would be a great feature to allow your client portal to have control over the font size of the size bar menu when it's being accessed via a mobile device - it's fine for me but I could imagine that some customers with poor vision may struggle to read the text size. 

I'm sure it's a simple change that can be implemented in the future.

It's streamlining my business operations while offering clients simple access to their projects. In the modern era, clients always want access to their information so when working on a project where they have drawings, invoices, schedules and other documentation continiously being developed, Copilot can ensure they are always syncronised with the workflow.

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

Copilot is a massively impactful for any team or business owner who's interested in perfecting a streamlined and capable tech stack. 

The ability to add a button to our website directing clients to our dashboard is a huge advantage for us. Within that dashboard it allows us to communicate, invoice, request contracts & agreements, forms, and MUCH MORE. 

This platform is so important to my company on a daily basis, if you're not already using it then you're likely behind the rest of the pack. 

Lastly, Veronique from Copilot's success team has been extremely helpful for custom requests and very friendly!

To anyone trying to decide on making the switch, I would recommend starting off 2025 with Copilot!

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

There is only one thing I dislike about copilot, the fact that there isn't an iOS app. Aside that (very minor) incovenience I could not say enough good things about the platform.

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Copilot simplifies these important main items for my agency: Billing, contracts, comms, and file sharing.

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

The ease of setting up the Apps.  It's a very clean view compared to other portals I tested.  There is a lot of flexibility in what apps are suitable for your type business.  Customer Support is amazing and response time is quick.  Their pricing plans offer enough client portals without breaking the bank.  My staff learned it quickly and my clients are amazed that so much is now in one place for their access.  I like that my clients can pay invoices through the portal with credit or ACH and that I can pass the fees along to the client, or absorb them if I wish.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

Quickbooks linking doesn't work properly yet.  There is a bit more management involved in managing invoices if also using Quickbooks.  Some apps won't allow access so instead of embedding in my portal I have to link to an external source.

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to provide several resources in one place where in the past clients were provided with links and expected to keep up with them.  Instead they would just call my office when they needed something and my staff is constantly sending reminders and links to clients.  I was able to add a sign in button to my website, so now my site gets more traffic and it's a easy way for the client to remember where to sign in.  I am able to create a project status snap shot in Monday.com that I embed in the my client's portal.  I able to create to do lists for my clients so their Action Items are all in one place.  Both the project status and Action Item list cuts down on the number of calls and inquiries from clients about where their case stands or if we need anything from them.  Digitally getting contracts signed is a plus and saves everyone time.

It's the perfect blend of customizable and easy-to-use. I love that we have the ability to seamlessly integrate it with our existing online presense and implement all the features we need without needing to know how to code. Marlon and his team were super helpful with answering all my questions and educating me how to use the product

A little bit of a learning curve starting out, but the support team and support guides were a great resource.

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

What I like most about Copilot is the modern look and clean feel of the software both on the back end and front end for clients. I also like that theyre consistently adding new features and very willing to create and implement community suggested features.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

I haven't had any issues with Copilot that would cause me to dislike anything about the software, but if I had to pick something, it would be the 1 license per user or lack of admin included or tiered cost.

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Copilot is solving our modernization problem. We've been around 45 years and always taken pride in our personal touch, however we neglected to implement anything technology related for our clients to interact with us. It was always mail, email, phone call etc. We're a finanical services company and we have a lot of regulatory requirements to follow, and Copilot made it easy to implement a technology platform that could securely message clients, export the messages for record keeping purposes. Digital forms to collect client information with ease as well as transfer documents, statements, notices etc, book meetings with our team in one place etc. It also helps us by being compatible with automation like Zapier to automate some of our processes.

I like that I can choose which apps to have available to my client and can create custom pages based on my needs.  The client facing side feels personal to my business - I don't have to tell someone to ignore a section because it doesn't apply, I can just eliminate it and include what I want.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

I wish the tasks section was a bit more interactive so that I could use it more like a client request type system to request documents and so forth.  I'm hoping this will be expanded in the future, but I'm managing with the workarounds by combining tasks with forms for now.

As an sole proprietor, I was looking for software that is easy to learn, simple to build out and also provides the necessary support for my business needs; Copilot meets all the criteria.

I had a difficult time with learning the transition of excel reports at first.

Copilot is eliminating the manual reporting of client accounts for my business referral partners.  Also allowing them to schedule meetings for the customers with me freely and upload documents in a secure manner.

The constantly evolving Copilot platform provides an ideal landing point for your customers.  As a customer the portal is intuitive, branded, and highly accessable.  As an operotor it is customizable, flexible, reliable, and deeply supported.  From zapier integration to in built automation the Copilot platform is a fantastic solution to supporting your customers.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

You cannot bring your own merchant solution and limited by Stripe Express's limitations.

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Copilot is our main point of interaction post opportuntiy.  Once the customer has been qualitifed they use the customer portal to pay invoices, sign contracts, comminicate with my customer service team, browse knowledge articles, and submit requests for cancellation.

The pricing structure for the upgrades.  I felt the cost was designed for firms much bigger than myself. For example, I have 5 customers and I could not justify spending any more than the subscription.

What I love most about Copilot is its incredible flexibility and how effortlessly it integrates with other apps. It feels like having a personal assistant designed to fit your unique workflow, rather than making you conform to a preset system. The customization options are outstanding, giving me the freedom to shape the platform exactly to my needs.

ot all sites fully integrate, which sometimes causes certain pages not to load properly—a bit frustrating when you're trying to streamline tasks. Additionally, there’s no notes feature available for internal use yet, which would be incredibly helpful for quick reminders or team collaboration.

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By centralizing communication, organizing tasks, and simplifying workflows, Copilot has made managing clients more efficient, allowing me to dedicate more time to delivering exceptional results instead of getting caught up in administrative tasks.

This is a super easy app to setup. The automation integration with zapier work well.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

I wish there was more of an ability to customize the actual portal notification settings. Clients recieve an email 5 minutes after you change something in their portal. I would love to simply have an updated button that sent them a bulk change I made in their portal. Also the ability to have them download an app would be incredible helpful.

Creating a streamlined experience for everything from messages to file delivery to contracts to meetings.

The ability to have everything for the client in one place, and branded to our liking is amazing. I just create their account and boom, I can send contracts, invoices, we can chat, embed dashboards...very seamless

Team is working on it, but a little more functionality with the new tasks app and the ability to sync that with my other tools so clients don't have to leave

The best parts about copilot are managing client contracts, messaging, and projects all in one place. The team is also very responsive and provides helpful work arounds where necessary. There are many softwares in this space that lost my business for simply trying to do too much... Copilot CRM understands what its use case is, and is focused on continously improving in those areas.

I would appreciate a more complete billing system where you can set up payment links that are required before clients logging in.

The current iteration of my service works well. The contracts (e-signature), invoicing, and forms built in apps  enable me to host my client onboarding in one place. The next steps for my services utilize a good bit of gsheets which easily embeds into either a global view or client level view to share resources.

As of now it almost seems too simple.  While the subscription and invoicing features are great, I wish there were easier ways to integrate my own payment processing service within the app

Having a central place to house most of my client experience for consulting services. It's a benefit because instead of hosting resources and sharing with clients from multiple sources I can house the majority of my interactions with them in one place.

Modularity of the offerings are good, allows for variable access based on client type, service type, etc. They have good customer support staff and have worked with us to solve a couple of issues.

They oversold their native connection with Notion which forced us to pay someone to code up the connections, etc.

Provides a solid client portal application, allows us to centralize our communication with clients. Gives us a good place to log our work and have shared visibility on our deliverables.

I apologize for any confusion regarding Notion’s embed functionality. Notion has implemented a same-origin restriction, thus prohibiting iFrames on any other domain. However, you can add a Notion page as an App using Super (super.so). Super allows you to create a website from a Notion page, which enables you to embed it into Copilot. We have instructions on how to do this in our Copilot Guide (https://www.copilot.app/guide/notion-partner-app).

I haven't seen any major downsides regarding the intended us of the platform. There are a few features I wish existed, but they may be unique to our use case...like being able to set custom fields in the task app and more out of the box automations like creating tasks when a new user is added.

We need a simple and easy to manage way to manager our tech-enabled services customer experience while iterating quickly on feedback and making changes in real time. Copilot allows us to do that without long development cycles required in our old product.

- Customization on the admin side of a portal is limited and apps with similar names can conflict
- In-House app selection from Copilot are fairly rigid in their feature selection, limiting the amount of usefulness that can be derived from each app
- I think the CRM side of the platform is fairly limited and with some input from the community, could expand its offering to allow for some more personalization and segmentation business of all kinds could take advantage of

As a marketing agency, I love the idea of using Copilot as a platform that allows my business to fairly seemlessly integrate all the marketing tools and resoruces a client uses all in one place, and the Copilot product accomplishes that and so much more.

I like how tailorable copilot is and how many excellent tutorials they have to explain things! Beyond the tutorials, the slack they have set up is an amazing way to get more answers and connect with more poeple to get ideas. I love how they are building a community with it! Additionally, any time I have reached out for help, they have been incredibly responsive and helpful! I feel that my needs come first, which I really appreciate.

Although it is very tailorable, there are some limitations. One big one for me is the limited ability to integrate a number of different notion pages without paying for another third party. I also would like more tailorability on the homepage for assinging tasks to clients.

Keeping all the information for my clients in one place, making communication with them about the project easier, and being able to assign tasks to my clients so that they are aware of what needs to be done!

Listen... I tried sooo many different CRMs and none of them were for me. Stumbling upon Copilot was one of the best days of my life. Not only is their support team VERY responsive and assistive, they actually listen to ideas for iterations. It feels like I'm heard—not to mention the robust features they make available. I will likely never leave Copilot because of the way their features work for my agency swimmingly, but the way they have treated me and the care they have exemplified reinforces that sentiment 10x over.

To see more customizations available to the client-facing portal would be nice, but there certainly are quite a bit already!

Copilot is a one stop shop for clients. It was hard finding a software for a client facing portal for clients who are recurring customers. Each project can have it's own area, but clients are still able to view ALL of their previous projects from one platform. It was easy to set up and implement.

I am not a fan that Custom Domains are only available on Professional plan +, and the professional plan is over double the price of the starter. My company has everything it needs in the starter plan, but a custom domain seems fairly customary for even the lowest plans...

We have a lot of recurring clients who wanted a portal to view all of their previous designs. Copilot is doign an excellent job of solving this!

How clean the UI is, we have gotten several compliments from users so far on how nice it looks. It is very robust and seamlessly integrates many different data types, making it appear custom-built.

I appreciate the excellent level of customer service and having a hub where my tribe can congregate while keeping our company and clients' progress organized.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

My only dislike is the payment options. There is only one option. I would like to see multiple options or the ability to connect a payment gateway for those in "specialty industries." Stripe is not the best solution for everyone, and I believe Copiolot missed the mark in that area.

I have all my clients' in one place. I truly appreciate that and love Copilot for providing me with a a platform to make this happen.
