Cooleaf provides a text space to make comments about their recognition, so I can share how my fellow employee worked extra late to solve a client problem or how a colleague is everyone's go-to guy for answers. These comments are public within the company, and I believe this is important for helping bring attention to solid contributors. Cooleaf also keeps a list of upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries, allowing us to acknowledge special days despite being a work from anywhere company. In a virtual work environment, it is nice to be able to still feel connected this way. The points accumulate quickly and can be traded in for various things, from merchandise to gift cards to charitable donations to experiences. There is truly something for everyone. Ridiculously, I also love adding images or GIFs to my posts. It adds that fun and flair that we enjoy! **What do you dislike about Cooleaf by ITA Group?** To prevent abuse of the tool only one recognition per day receives points. The logic of this is apparent; however, it is unfortunate when significant events are happening such as software releases - where multiple teams may wish to recognize various people in the same cluster of days. An IT agent may have assisted several teams during a single release day, but those teams must be observant as to whether or not that individual has already been tagged for the day if they wish points to be awarded. It would be helpful to have some community suggestions from Cooleaf users on how to solve this issue without opening the gates to pure abuse of the tool. **What problems is Cooleaf by ITA Group solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a project manager, I work with several teams and individuals to ensure our clients have the best experience possible. Cooleaf gives me the instant ability to praise and reward those who make my job a little easier, more pleasant, and more comfortable. When a client calls someone out to me by name, I can go straight to Cooleaf and do recognition for them.
