CookieChimp is a highly customisable and precisely targetable consent management platform for organisations operating across multiple brands, websites and jurisdictions. Instead of forcing every visitor into one global banner, CookieChimp lets teams create unlimited consent experiences and target them by country, specific US state, or Canadian province and territory. Serve visitors in California, Colorado, Virginia, Quebec, the rest of Canada, the EU/EEA, UK and other markets the banner, language and consent model their region requires. Start with a built-in, regulation-ready template for each supported jurisdiction, including opt-in and opt-out models, then customise every layer: copy, buttons, colours, layout, behaviour, language and branding. Banners can be translated into every language. Advanced teams can use custom CSS, HTML and JavaScript, headless mode and APIs so consent feels native to their product. CookieChimp’s Regional Compliance Report checks each banner and account configuration against jurisdiction-specific requirements, including consent model, button prominence, retention and privacy-signal handling. It provides a compliance score plus issues, warnings, passing checks and references to official legal text, updating as configurations change. Enterprise and agency teams get unlimited websites with shared usage, centralised multi-brand account management, multi-user access, full APIs, consent exports and privacy-preserving audit trails, cross-domain and cross-device consent sharing, custom integrations, implementation and data migration support, and a dedicated account manager. CookieChimp also automatically scans sites for vendors, cookies and storage, blocks non-essential technologies until consent where required, and supports Google Consent Mode v2, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track.

**What do you like best about CookieChimp CMP?**

I love the developer experience with CookieChimp CMP because it was very straightforward to set up. It also has scan tools that help implement it correctly. The regional banners were exactly what I was looking for, allowing me to choose different types of banners for different regions. This means some places can opt in and some can opt out by default. The platform itself was very easy to use and gets integrated into our full stack, making it a great fit for our needs.

**What do you dislike about CookieChimp CMP?**

Initially, they didn't have the offering for Canadian province granular selection, but they added that since joining. I also wish their reporting was more in-depth, but after sharing that feedback, they have said that they are already working on that to improve exploring the metrics of opt-in rates.

**What problems is CookieChimp CMP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to tailor opt ins specifically to each region so that we could meet each regional requirements, cookiechimp made that very easy and provided templates for each regional variant.
