It saves me time, helps me keep organized and the ROI has been great. It has many integrations as well that help me connect with my other apps. The AI tools are also a plus. Overall it's a good tool. As a small SaaS business at AppSumore, we use it to manage newsletters, product announcements, and automated email sequences without needing a complicated setup. The visual automation builder is intuitive and makes it easy to create subscriber journeys based on user actions, tags, and custom segments. We also appreciate the clean interface, which keeps campaign management organized even as our email list grows. Compared to some other email marketing platforms we've tested, Kit has a much shorter learning curve. Another standout feature is its integrations. Connecting Kit with landing pages, forms, and other marketing tools is straightforward, allowing us to automate lead capture and follow-up with minimal manual work. Deliverability has also been reliable, and campaign performance reports provide enough insights to optimize open rates and engagement. Kit also includes AI-powered writing assistance for generating email drafts and subject line ideas. Our biggest area for improvement would be reporting and analytics. While Kit provides the core email metrics, we'd like more advanced attribution, conversion tracking, and customizable reports to better understand how campaigns influence the customer journey across multiple channels. As our subscriber base grows, pricing can increase fairly quickly. It would be helpful if more automation, segmentation, and reporting features were included in the lower-tier plans, giving small businesses more room to scale before upgrading. We'd also appreciate additional native integrations with a wider range of SaaS and marketing platforms. Although third-party connectors are available, direct integrations are generally easier to maintain and reduce setup time. Finally, the AI writing assistant is a useful starting point, but it could offer more control over tone, brand voice, and content style. Before using Kit, managing email campaigns and follow-up sequences required significantly more manual work. We had to organize subscribers, send campaigns manually, and spend extra time maintaining different audience lists, which made it harder to scale our email marketing efficiently. With Kit, we can automate welcome emails, product announcements, and follow-up sequences based on subscriber behavior and audience segments. This has helped us deliver more relevant content while reducing the amount of manual campaign management required from our team. The platform has also made audience segmentation much easier. Instead of maintaining multiple lists, we can use tags and automations to target the right subscribers with personalized campaigns, resulting in better engagement and fewer unnecessary emails. What I best like about Kit is how simple and creator focused it is, compared to other enterprise heavy marketing tools. Setting up email automations, filtering or segmenting audience, workflows is all relatively straightforward in use. I also found the analytics and engagement insights useful for tracking and understanding user behaviour, helping me in improving the communication in workflows. So one limitation i noticed is some useful features, especially, the advanced A/B testing capabilities, are restricted only for the Pro plan of it, which is way costly that's 66$ per month. The creator plan that is 33$ per month should have this included, otherwise this plan feels slightly limited for the advanced customisation and testing flexibility. I find Kit really helpful for smaller businesses, creatives, and consultants. As a platform for email marketing and communications, it is really interesting and very easy to use. The automation is straightforward, making it easy for me to build automated funnels. I appreciate the built-in landing pages and forms, which are really nice to use and very self-explanatory even for those not trained on the system. Additionally, it's easy to tag people and update contacts, and the designs provided are easily usable. It’s also simple to train others on Kit, which is crucial since I work with small founding teams. The initial setup was very straightforward with easy payment options. I don't like the extractive business practices Kit uses, like automatically ratcheting up account upgrades. They don't make downgrades as easy and it's incredibly hard to find that option. The initial setup wasn't easy either. They claim to offer migration help, but I've heard from friends that their accounts were messed up when they took up that offer. Their creator focus means the things they launch are really in line with what I need like their referral system for growth, their "borrow our mailing address" so I don't have to put a personal address as a remote worker, etc. They even have free podcast studios for users!
