My organization has been using Conversica for about six months. The process of implemenatation and integration with Salesforce was simple and included well-documented instructions. It has really helped our sales team to reach out to a large volume of prequalified leads that were typically left untouched in the sales process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Conversica works best when trying to sell a single item or when the goal is to book an appointment with a sales representative. However, in our use case we are often trying to sell a vareity of items at the same time but we are currently limited to only including one sales url in the emails. The statistics and KPIs displayed on the main dashboard do not seem to always match up with the results in Conversica's reporting or Salesforce reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Using Conversica has not only freed up a lot of my time, but also helps with customer retention. Instead of having 25-30 active conversations, the AI assistant makes it easy to check in, and see who needs a little extra assistance. The help center has just about anything you need a walkthrough on, and the help center is quick to reply. Some small downsides: while the AI is evolving, sometimes things are a little too complicated to just let the AI Assistant take over. Sometimes, customers who have opted out will be contacted again; customers marked sold will get an occastional email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to have so many different templates with customized variables smoothly integrated into Salesforce is fantastic. A campaign can be dynamic and constantly evolving in SF, and Conversica will make sure that each new lead drops into the correct flow. Really, really useful platform. Integrating a campaign is easy, and I can easily see the respondents directly in my Salesforce dashboard. I use Conversica weekly because it's so well integrated and easy to use. The templates have customized variables but I feel limited in how much customization I can do to those variables. I sometimes feel that I'm forcing a template to do what I need it to do, but these are fringe cases. I think the reporting back to internal MarTech platforms is where there is a dropoff of wow factor. There is great integration with Salesforce, but if the lead is not already a customer and being cross sold to, then Conversica is better served connecting deeper to the Marketing platform (or should be a better option). In addition, since it is an outside software emailing on behalf of a company, there is much tracking of unsubscribes, bounces, opens, and clicks that should be sent cleanly to multiple MarTech options and should include the Marketing software as well as Data Lakes like Snowflake. Their ability to use AI to contact and reengage with customers is top notch. It's impossible to follow up with hundreds of customers month in and month out, so their help is always appreciated. My favorite part is the ease of use and implementation. I can advise the AI to continue the conversation on my behalf if they are not responding and then jump in once the time is right. Having a tool to help generate hot leads for sales is a game changer. It is so hard making cold calls to places that do not have interest in any new tools so to have AI generate actual leads for potential customers is a huge time saver.
