The best thing about ContractSafe is the fact that it leads to improved decision making. By having contracts that are simple to read and comprehend, I will be able to answer questions of legal or vendor nature faster. This has minimized forward and backward email messages and unwarranted follow up. My day to day activities become more concentration oriented since I am not bothered by seeking or trying to guess the details. My biggest disappointment with ContractSafe is that better version comparison tools were absent. I actually tend to check amendments frequently, and it is very tiresome to be sure what is modified. Access control may also be more accommodating particularly to temporary users. These problems drag down the teamwork and make the reviews more manual than I would wish. What problems is ContractSafe solving and how is that benefiting you? The largest issue that the ContractSafe will resolve in our case is the lack of visibility of the contracts. Verifying what was agreed upon was too much of a time with us. Answers are received quicker with this software, which assists teams to remain in line. It has enhanced the communication and minimized approval errors. It saves energy on a daily basis and it makes us concentrate on real work rather than on contract details chasing. I am a very big fan of the fact that ContractSafe brings all of our important vendor agreements in a single place of access. It has simplified the process of accessing any document at short notice to make reviews whenever it is time to conduct audits or during the time of renewal negotiations. The search feature is usually easy to use, but I have noticed that it can be enhanced. It happens that it may be necessary to search using several different keywords before certain clause is found. Our reputation and business relations with other companies are also well established because we have one source of truth since the implementation of ContractSafe, where all our relationships with external parties are well documented and regulated. As a new user, I found it a bit difficult to navigate at first. Some actions (like uploading or editing metadata) weren’t as intuitive as I expected, and I had to spend time figuring things out or checking the help documentation. The best thing, which I saw about ContractSafe is the search capabilities and how contracts can be easily managed. I can easily search for particular contracts because the search function is extremely fast even if we have many of them. We have integrated it to work with DocuSign and that actually helps in contract signing. I also enjoy the alert feature which notifies us of renewal dates, there is nothing like forgetting a due date again. It is convenient to use and helps us avoid a considerable amount of work. It’s useful for the most basic tasks, though the ability to tailor it to how we work would be beneficial. What this lack flexibility implies is that we do not always structure our contracts in the most optimal manner. Earlier, contracts were located with difficulty, and their maintenance or identification of the dates of their termination was not easy so that some deadlines were missed. Currently, we get automated notifications for renewals, and using the search tool, finding the contracts is a breeze. My favorite feature of ContractSafe is that it has a simple to use interface while being highly efficient in the searching department. The speed, ability to upload, sort and search for contracts has really improved handling tasks with our documents. I also like the fact that it integrates well with commonly used programs such as Google Drive and Microsoft office through which we can function well with our current programs. What do you dislike about ContractSafe? Some of the drawbacks of using ContractSafe are that its reporting functionality options are somewhat restricted. It is often difficult for us to provide elaborate reports or adapt them according to the requirements of a task. This is a limitation in the analysis and utilization of contract data which may lead to slow down the decision making processes.
