Great Tool, but is it regularly unusable. Still can't recommend right now. Updated 7/2025 **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2022 **What do you like best about Contractor Foreman?** Fortunately, server issues and pages not loading at all have been infrequent and short lasting when they do happen. They are obviously trying to improve, but in the strangest ways. If stability were a known issue, don't make it look better...make it stable. They have started implementing "beta" pages into production environments. You can not opt out and can not turn them off at all. You can still chose...on...each...beta...page, to chose to go back to "classic. But literally every page load you would have to chose this. There is still absolutely no heads up that they are pushing some new code to production. You just have to hold your breath and hope that tomorrow isn't one of those "update" days. It will definitely! impact your production. The last update was 3 weeks ago. We are still fighting for them to fix bugs that cost us hours per week of extra clicks, refreshes, manual fixes...per employee. I know that at this point it's on us...for continuing to trust that they will improve. **What do you dislike about Contractor Foreman?** Focus development solely on stability and implement any new "features" slowly. Take care of your current customer base before trying to add features that attract new customers. Keep caring for your support team that does seem to genuinely care...until they interact with development...at which point every intentional, conscientious support team member seems to respond with some of the most unsupportive, unhelpful solutions. **What problems is Contractor Foreman solving and how is that benefiting you?** Contractor Foreman is an efficient, inexpensive project management tool appealing to a very large and varied construction market. We have been excited to move towards efficiency and simplicity, in order to gain production and administrative bandwidth. **Official Response from Falak Naz Khan:** > Thank you for your candid feedback. We completely understand your frustration, and we’re sorry for the disruptions you've experienced. While some of the recent interface updates may appear cosmetic, they are part of a broader effort to improve long-term code stability, performance, and maintainability across the platform. We also want to acknowledge your concerns about the timing and impact of system updates. While major updates are rolled out quarterly, we do push bug fixes as needed between those cycles. That said, we know the lack of advanced notice can be disruptive, and it's something we're actively working to improve internally. We’re putting more weight behind reported bugs, both in terms of triage and follow-through, because we recognize how much they affect day-to-day operations. Our team has made internal structural changes to better track and respond to the real-world impact these issues have on our customers. Great app but with tricky policies **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Pablo M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2023 **What do you like best about Contractor Foreman?** It's a great app, it's user friendly, and the customer support is super responsive **What do you dislike about Contractor Foreman?** They have tricky policies, you really have to pay attention and read them **What problems is Contractor Foreman solving and how is that benefiting you?** Support is super responsive, I was on a Free Trial looking for the features for a customer, but I couldn't make it on time to cancel the free trial and then I got charged, I connected with them the same night that I got charged(around 30 minutes after), and they gave me the refund immediately, but I didn't read the policies, so they charge you a fee of $100 as a penalty(I think now they just don't give refunds), I know they're small company, but when you see a small company charging this kind of fees at their stage(they've been in business for more than 5 years), something's wrong. **Official Response from Steven Gabbard:** > Hi Pablo. No one wants to be billed for something that they do not want. That is why we send a reminder after you signup and again 8 days before the trial ends reminding you to cancel to avoid being charged. After the trial ends, we do charge our customers based on the refund policy that you agreed to before your account was able to be created. We issue a 75% refund it the request comes within 5 days after the trial ends. The 25% remains on file as a credit for future use that way you are never out money. ### 4. The ability to manage a project from opportunity to close is pretty fluid. **What do you dislike about Contractor Foreman?** The calendar fuction is advertised as powerful and able to sync with outlook, but in reality it does this very poorly. The customer support is very lacking. Most of the answers I got were that it's working as it should. Most people I spoke to didn't understand the issue.
