One often overlooked is the people behind the software. Continuum cares about your success and has so many resources to help you scale. Scailability is the number 1 thing you gain with partnering with Continuum. From their marketing and sales help to their fully-staffed and managed services that they provide for you to resell to your clients or for use within your own company; the whole package is unequalled in the market. **What do you dislike about Continuum?** There are absolutely more advanced RMM tools out there. Continuum's toolset has made big strides towards becoming more feature complete. There are signs of inconsistency in some areas where applications are still conforming into a cohesive singular product for you to use. None of it unusable, only convenience can be worked on moving forward. **What problems is Continuum solving and how is that benefiting you?** Again, scalability is huge. We are positioned for major growth beyond our very slim company size managing roughly x4 what our competitors are doing in terms of client-to-technician ratio. ### 2. Essential Plug-In Tools **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2019 **What do you like best about Continuum?** Continuum was essentially the first set of plug-ins I ever used, starting with Avid, continuing with Final Cut and then Premiere. That flexibility itself makes you comfortable editing with the project on any system. I love the pre-set effects that come up with certain "looks" then allow you to revise and make them your own. The ridiculously quick render times make working under the gun - while making your work look terrific - a breeze. I can't tell you how many compliments I get on my work - 75% of it uses Boris in one way or another. **What do you dislike about Continuum?** While the company has been great at enhancing their product, the introduction of competitive plug-ins and Premiere-friendly templates have been luring me away at times. The Title tool - which essentially took over for the defunct Boris Red program - is nowhere near as intuitive and user-friendly. They need to start coming up with some text fly-ins and other graphic transitions that are just plug and play. **Recommendations to others considering Continuum:** An awesome plug-in platform that's well worth the cost. Tons of transitions and expensive looking effects. Title tools need improvement **What problems is Continuum solving and how is that benefiting you?** As I said earlier, Continuum makes it so easy to work fast and make your work look great. The cost / benefit ratio is way in Boris' favor. In my business I need to get things turned around in a few hours. Boris is an essential way in which I do that. ### 3.
