What do you dislike about ContentWriters?
We have a very niche audience (said every marketer that has ever existed), but this happens to be very true in my case. My audience is already highly educated in their field, so trying to create engaging content can be a challenge since they already have more than a high level understanding of a lot of concepts. This poses a challenge for ContentWriters as they're best suited for a lot of high level/top of the funnel content.
As a marketer, I've grown weary of the "X Top Tips for..." that now flood the internet. I'm not certain the writers have enough experience in computing research and technology to dive as deeply as I need them to. This will be a problem for any vertical that has a very technical component to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Recommendations to others considering ContentWriters:
Despite not always being able to go deep enough, I still appreciate and utilize the content created through ContentWriters. Knowing what I know now, I make adjustments and use this as a tool to move things off my plate so I can focus on the nitty gritty that can't be accomplished by someone who is outside of our company and audience. I'd keep that in mind for anyone that works in tech, healthcare, or anything that lends itself to nuance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
