We mainly use ContactPigeon to send email campaigns on behalf of our multiple clients, both automated and bulk. They have been performing consistently well with strong open rates, especially in automated journeys. The setup for automations is straightforward, and once things are live, they run effectively.

**What do you dislike about ContactPigeon?**

Despite the overall quality, at times, the platform feels a bit outdated in certain areas. For example, scheduling future campaigns can be confusing.

**What problems is ContactPigeon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating our clients’ emails is a very handy tool, saving time and ensuring consistency. Also, one of the major advantages is the very responsive and knowledgeable support team, which is very important for us. Great collaboration in all aspects.

**What do you like best about ContactPigeon?**

What stands out most is how effectively the platform enables lifecycle automation and multi-channel engagement. Across multiple ecommerce clients we manage, ContactPigeon is primarily used to activate behavioral automations such as abandoned cart recovery, browse abandonment reminders, product recommendations, and upsell flows.
These automations help convert existing traffic that would otherwise be lost. The platform also makes it easy to combine email campaigns, push notifications, and on-site messaging, such as pop-ups, giving brands several ways to reconnect with customers throughout their journey.
Another strong advantage is how quickly marketing teams can launch campaigns through tools like landing pages and onsite promotions without needing development resources. Overall, it helps retailers structure their customer lifecycle marketing and extract more value from the traffic they already have.

**What do you dislike about ContactPigeon?**

The only drawback we’ve encountered is a small reporting detail related to currency conversion. In some revenue reports, euro and leva prices can occasionally appear together, which can require a quick manual check when reviewing performance.

With ContactPigeon, we can manage our clients’ lifecycle automations through different touchpoints. We’ve been running various automated flows, including abandoned cart recovery, browse abandonment, price-drop alerts, and product recommendations. Push notifications and pop-ups have also been performing well, helping increase traffic, subscribers or even bring people back to the site.

The reporting and the ContactPigeon/Meta ads feature could be a little easier to navigate. Other than that, it was an interesting take, and we had a positive experience.

ContactPigeon directly contributes to our revenue with multiple channels. On-site popups, especially, are a top channel for our client, performing very well with steady conversions. What is more, the platform also makes it easy for multi-channel engagement through email, push notifications, and on-site messages.

Most delays usually come from our side because evaluating and approving new implementations can take time internally, so we cannot always try new ideas as quickly as we would like.

ContactPigeon is an omnichannel marketing automation platform, and it also comes with pre-built marketing recipes. On top of that, it has an excellent real-time analytics system and awesome support.

I used it for my Shopify store, and ContactPigeon has very high pricing. I also found it can get complex when setting up automation, which made the overall setup feel more difficult than I expected.

We’ve been working with ContactPigeon since 2020, and there are so many things that we can do. What stands out most for us is how effective the pop-ups are, especially this past year, where we’ve seen great performance in orders and revenue. Email campaigns also contribute a solid amount of revenue, and the team has helped us build transactional emails for our beauty consultant service, which streamlined communication with customers.

When we want to test something new, we are getting lost in the interface. Of course the team helps with that, so it’s more of a minor inconvenience.

What we appreciate most is how well the platform handles our mix of standard and specific automations. Apart from the usual flows like cart, browse, and wishlist recovery, we’ve built several more advanced journeys that fit our business needs. One example is the flow that identifies customers who haven’t reordered and sends them a gentle reminder with a coupon. Another one we rely on is the “Asked Back in Stock” setup, where an out-of-stock product triggers a pop-up so visitors can request a notification. These have worked surprisingly well for us.

At times, setting up more unusual automations takes a bit of coordination with the support team. It’s not a blocker, but it means we plan ahead when we want to build something more complex.

**What do you like best about ContactPigeon?**

What has stood out for us since 2022 is how well the platform adapts to our business and workflow, even though we don’t run a typical eCommerce site. We mainly promote services, events, and our franchise program. ContactPigeon helped us build automations that support these needs and that was extremely responsive. The team is present whenever we needed custom opt-in preferences or changes in our signup flows. In general, our campaigns and push notifications perform consistently well for us, especially on engagement, like open and click rates.

**What do you dislike about ContactPigeon?**

Because our website is not product-driven, we sometimes reach the limits of what we can automate compared to a full eCommerce setup, but that’s just the nature of our model. Still, it would be great to have a few more ready-made use cases tailored to services or event-based businesses.

The biggest value has been centralizing our communications and automating journeys. We also use bilingual pop-ups for on-site retargeting, and campaigns that help us reach the right people at the right time. Apart from the traditional marketing activities, we’ve also enabled QR codes across all our stores. We’ve also activated ContactPigeon’s CDP, with detailed dashboards that help us better understand our customers and overall performance. Moreover we rely on a wide range of features to reach and engage our customers more effectively. We also saw a demo of the Menura AI agent and it seems very interesting.

So far, our collaboration has been smooth, and the team has also been consistently supportive and responsive. At times, we may experience some lags when creating large segments and updating lists.

We have been with ContactPigeon for years, and automation has been our biggest asset. Email flows and segmentation are important for our strategy and our marketing plan. It’s one of the best software for managing and sending emails, and orchestrating automated sequences that bring sales.

There isn’t something negative. If anything, I would like to build even more advanced automation flows, but I haven’t had the chance.

**What do you like best about ContactPigeon?**

Our collaboration with ContactPigeon has been very strong since May 2023, although Mistore has been a customer since 2020. From the beginning, we appreciated how the platform adapts to our strict GDPR requirements and we’ve created custom landing pages as a Preference Center. In general, the team has supported us with multiple custom developments and our communication is consistent as the team is always there to help us with frequent changes on our websites.

**What do you dislike about ContactPigeon?**

Due to our strict GDPR policies, we cannot fully use all the features. For example, we are having difficulties with recording user history and we can send emails with very specific criteria. This makes tracking complicated and it doesn’t speak to the platform’s capabilities, but unfortunately it’s necessary for data protection. The automation whiteboard could be more intuitive. Also, the segmentation tool takes a little longer than anticipated, and it can be a challenge, especially in urgent tasks. But their support is hands-on and fast, so we’re never stuck for long.
