Very good at what they advertise **What problems is ContactOut solving and how is that benefiting you?** Well everyone has had those moments where you met a potential investor or a future client and you forget to get their contact info or lose the business card they handed you. Best Prospecting Tool **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2019 **What do you like best about ContactOut?** Switched from Rocketreach to Contactout and immediately found greater success in finding emails, and especially in finding phone numbers **What do you dislike about ContactOut?** Occasionally information is out of date, but generally very satisfied. **What problems is ContactOut solving and how is that benefiting you?** Contactout is fantastic in particular for secondary or personal email addresses, and does more than just scan company databases. Having the ability to directly message our potential candidates increased our response rates significantly, we’d highly recommend it to other firms. **What do you dislike about ContactOut?** I have not found anything to dislike it. **Recommendations to others considering ContactOut:** Contactout is a game-changing extension. I would strongly recommend this for anyone in sales/recruitment. It is the most accurate email finding tool I've used. **What problems is ContactOut solving and how is that benefiting you?** Making the decision to license the product was an easy decision after a trial, which led to a successfully recruited client. Contact Out has tripled the yield to our InMail strategy traditionally exclusively on LinkedIN, which isn’t delivering us ROI anymore. **Official Response:** > Thanks for the positive review! I appreciate the ease of use, it quickly pulls email and makes it easy to see. **What do you dislike about ContactOut?** Pricing seems a bit much, in an effort to find hidden info, it doesn't always find the obvious info. An upgrade should be made. If I am on LinkedIn of a 1st connection there should be recognition that I have access to a given phone number and it should pull up as well. **Recommendations to others considering ContactOut:** Be aware it will pull whatever email is registered for the account, not the recent role. **What problems is ContactOut solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps with quickly accessing contact info **Official Response:** > Hi, Thanks for the review and feedback. Our service is not a good fit for every organization, and we have built our subscription model for small, medium, and large organizations, understanding small organizations tend to need the biggest savings. As for our data, we primarily focus on personal data (personal emails and phone numbers), our information does not come from the email people registered with on LinkedIn. We gather information from the public domain (public websites, web forums, blogs, and social media). When you are on a person's LinkedIn Profile we are matching this person to our database of information and showing the relevant data for that individual. We do not take information from LinkedIn unless a person physically posts it publicly where anyone can get it. As a small organization with volunteers and a big contact newsletter list, it's important that all the emails go through and I don't have to search the web for new email addresses. **What do you dislike about ContactOut?** Honestly, there isn't much I dislike. The Google Chrome add-on is super helpful.
