That said, they do get hacked instantly, so you need to set up security on a new machine right away. I’ve automated that part with a bash script, so for me it’s been the best deal out there. Highly recommended, but definitely not for beginners who are setting up a server for the first time. **What do you dislike about Contabo?** It doesn’t come with built-in security for SSH, such as fail2ban, and it also doesn’t include a custom user setup with the root user locked down. I’d also prefer a random SSH port instead of the common default port. **What problems is Contabo solving and how is that benefiting you?** My entire brand, keynou.com, along with all its subdomains (separate apps and SaaS), is hosted on Contabo cloud machines.
