I like that I can reassign takeoff areas when the AI gets it wrong, which makes it valuable because I can fix the AI mistakes easily. I also found the initial setup to be extremely easy. I think adding a feature where you can open up a new tab would be helpful, allowing you to jump from tab to tab easily. This would let you have a floor plan and a cut section open simultaneously, and navigate between them by using the ribbon. I use On-Screen Takeoff® for my take-offs of blueprints, and I really appreciate that I do not have to manually measure and figure out square footage. Either Manually operated or using " Boost " it Provides Quick Net SF for projecting final material values, which can help secure good pricing from suppliers and fast turn around times on rush quotes. Note : There are No "Floor Finish Plan" Boost functions (yet) , however if you get creative, you can utilize other features like the ceiling and paint takeoff, and manipulate / reassign Boost quantities to other conditions. It would also be great if the system could read the page names and rename the files accordingly after upload, so users wouldn't have to do it manually. Today, OST includes tools to speed up page naming and navigation, but there’s more we can do to streamline that setup so links and names require less manual work after upload. The annual fees tend to be on the higher side, and there are times when they increase significantly. Some of the automatic tools do not function as expected, which can be frustrating.
