"There's better out there"

What do you like best about Constant Contact?

It is effective in sending email blasts. We use it predominately for B2c communications. The reporting is minimal, but gives you a baseline overview. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Constant Contact?

There are more sophisticated tools out there -- more robust reporting, email templates, dynamic design. Our firm is migrating to Eloqua. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Constant Contact:

Ensure that you evaluate all of the tools vs. your business needs. We have streamlined our internal marketing operations function - and the need for system administrators, etc. (gatekeepers...) is now minimized. We need direct-access to users so a system that allows for dynamic design, reporting, etc. is necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Constant Contact solving and how is that benefiting you?

Digital communications (B2C). The benefit is a relatively quick-to-market (yet simplistic) email marketing tool. We do have the ability to embed video clips & links to other documents - which is helpful in a highly regulated industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Like Mailchimp Much Better"

What do you like best about Constant Contact?

Really the only thing I liked about Constant Contact was the ease of switching over to MailChimp. We just exported everything as lists and template and voi-lah! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Constant Contact is a joke of a company!!! I called with a simple question and they cancel my account out of nowhere and charge me $100!?!!?? DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! Not only that but they are so rude, they don't listen, and they are not fair to their customers!! The salesman didn't even want to give the phone to his manager. Don't use Constant Contact!!!!! What do you like best about Constant Contact?

It is a reliable software that allows the user to store and sort as many contacts as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Constant Contact?

It is not user-friendly and doesn't have enough design capability. I believe this software is behind on many things including UIUX and trending design templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Constant Contact:

I would recommend that each user do thorough research on all the softwares available so that they are able to make the most informed decision. I switched to MailChimp because I found that Constant Contact's design capabilities were outdated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
