It covers the full lifecycle of a consent form: creating it, collecting signatures, versioning it, handling withdrawals and keeping the documentation audit-proof. How it works. A template-based consent generator lets teams build a GDPR-compliant consent form in minutes — choosing purposes, defining retention and deletion periods, and setting the window during which consent can be given. The finished form is shared as a QR code or a link, on site or remotely. Participants sign digitally; full name and signature are mandatory parts of the record. Versioning and withdrawal. Every change to a consent form creates a new dated version, so it remains traceable which document a person actually agreed to. When someone withdraws their consent, the status of the affected record is updated and the responsible person is notified, keeping it clear at any moment which agreement is currently valid. Consent lists can be exported at any time. Granular by design. Each purpose must be actively selected rather than accepted in bulk, and deletion periods can be defined per purpose instead of as a single blanket date — important for longitudinal research, multi-wave data collection and projects that process several categories of personal data. Built for both sides. People who give consent get their own overview of what they have agreed to, receive a notification when a new version is published, and can ask questions through a moderated Q&A function. That turns a one-off signature into an ongoing, transparent relationship — something paper-based consent cannot offer. Typical use cases. Research studies and academic data collection, parental consent in schools, kindergartens and youth travel, photo and video releases for media production and events, model releases for agencies, participant registration at conferences and trade fairs, and employee consent in HR and recruiting. Conseydo is a spin-off from Universität Hamburg, funded by the City of Hamburg’s Calls4Transfer programme.
