## ScreenConnect Reviews
  ### 1. Secure, Seamless Unattended Access with ScreenConnect and NinjaOne Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve S. | Director of Information Systems and Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ScreenConnect?**

We use ScreenConnect mostly for unattended access to help our users and their endpoints.
It offers excellent security and we have integrated into NinjaOne so it is easy for our technicians to find the machine that they need to log into.
We can also provide temporary remote access to vendor support without worrying about unnecessary security issues.

**What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?**

I have used this product for at least 15 years and I cannot think of anything I do not like about it other than the price has increased over the years but that is consistent with all applications and it remains the best value in the area I have found.

**What problems is ScreenConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our primary use case is for remote access as our employees are spread out over about 50 different locations thusly the biggest benefit to using ScreenConnect is reducing the time to resolution and assisting in resolving about 95% of issues remotely.

  ### 2. Lightweight, Cross-Platform Remote Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason L. | Network Administrator, Retail, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about ScreenConnect?**

ScreenConnect is very lightweight, has good support, and works on both Mac and PC. Pricing is reasonable compared to almost every other option for remote control and support. The bandwidth required to manage a remote machine appears to be minimal as to not impede control performance. Best of all it has multiple deployment options for different scenarios.

**What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?**

It requires Admin rights to install, I realize this is a good security but it can pose a challenge when reinstallation is required.
Also Mac makes it repeatedly difficult to keep the client active, it seems every so often a Mac System update requires us to re-allow the software which is locked on our users Macs behind admin credentials. This requires us to get connected with ARD to resolve it.

**What problems is ScreenConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote machines are becoming almost primary at our company so quickly accessing them to assist my users is required. The capability to manage these machines and group them in the ScreenConnect web portal is also very helpful. Quickly Identifying what company, location, and machine makes it a very quick way to identify and begin assisting. The info tab for each machine also give insightfull details event without starting a control session.

  ### 3. Intuitive UI, Powerful Customization, and Handy On-Device Scripting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** max . | IT Helpdesk Technician, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ScreenConnect?**

The Ui is great to use and easy to pick up, functionality is great too, with plenty of options to customise. My favourite feature is that you can add scripts to run directly to the device, which is handy for our business.

In terms of integrations, we don't use any, but we have made scripts to deploy through other products and it works fine.

I do think ScreenConnect itself offers a really strong piece of software for it's price point that 'just works' for us, which is very important.

**What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?**

Sometimes there are minor performance issues however, I do believe this is more to do with the customer connection than the product.

**What problems is ScreenConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote access to client devices. Most importantly, it must be reliable and efficient, which it is.

  ### 4. Reliable and Easy Remote Support with ScreenConnect

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad M. | IT Systems Engineer II, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ScreenConnect?**

I've been using ScreenConnect for over four years, and it's a great product. It's one of the best ways to connect remotely to another system. We use it for assisting users with various remote issues and connecting to the back end to improve workstation functionality. ScreenConnect is incredibly helpful for support on non-customer machines with one-time connections. I really like the toolbox feature because it keeps a uniform set of tools available for our technicians. The backstage functionality is fantastic as it allows us to work on the machine without needing the user present. The ability to cut and paste within ScreenConnect is really helpful. It's integrated into NinjaOne, which makes monitoring and maintaining our machines super straightforward by allowing us to open a session with a single click. Setting up ScreenConnect was a no-brainer, very easy—we just installed the agents, and training our technicians only took a little while.

**What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?**

Cleaning up the back end and removing machines after they've been gone for a long time might be something we struggle with, and that's about it.

**What problems is ScreenConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ScreenConnect provides remote support by allowing us to see and interact with users' machines in near real-time.

With screenconnect, collaboration is also boosted thanks to screen sharing and ease of copying files remotely and securely.
With screenconnect, I like that remote video support is available and is very helpful when working with teams.
It is a fulfilling remote desktop solution that has saved our business money and ensures continuity of services no matter the location of the teams.

**What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?**

Well, I has met needs, Screenconnect is the best I have used.

**What problems is ScreenConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use screenconnect for offering remote support and it has been amazing as a remote desktop solution. It makes remote work possible and saves resources.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike B. | Automation Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about ScreenConnect?**

Easy and quick to use. The UI is perfectly minimal, and I haven’t noticed any lag at all. This tool is essential for our MSP.

**What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?**

The security issues are the biggest problem. To their credit, CW is quick to fix them, and since we’re hosted we get the patches automatically and quickly. Still, it’s always in the back of my mind.

**What problems is ScreenConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to remotely view and interact with a client’s computer has saved me countless hours when troubleshooting helpdesk issues.

  ### 8. Easy to Use and RMM-Friendly, But Recent Bugs and Disconnects Hurt Reliability

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Blake E. | IT Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ScreenConnect?**

Easy to use, and it works with almost all RMMs. The cost is good, and support does a pretty good job when you need help. No AI.

**What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?**

Recently, the software has become really buggy. It disconnects all the time, and downloading the agent takes a long time.

**What problems is ScreenConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me get remote access to clients’ PCs when I need to support them.

  ### 9. Effortless Remote Access with Robust Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel L. | Technical Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

I like ScreenConnect's ease of use and how it's integrated with Entra ID, which allows us to use roles to give engineers only the access they require. The RBAC permissions are really handy, and I appreciate the personal branding support for our ADHOC support portal. Recording remote sessions is a big plus, as it helps keep us protected through auditing. The deployment was really easy with the RMM integration.

integration with some AI to review screen recordings so we can log activity to our PSA
