Its a long time program and system that has years of legacy behind it, giving it leg up compared to the competition. UI is good when using via the browser. Overall there are some issues that need to be addressed. The difference between the web version and windows program are still miles apart. Feature parity seems to be quite a ways away. Support is ok, but can be tricky to get in touch with at times. the UI on the windows program is dated, and looks better on the web version. The scripting engine is extraordinarily powerful, enabling deep automation across all endpoints. Monitoring and alerting are highly tunable, which helps catch issues before clients even notice there’s a problem. The native integration with ConnectWise PSA also creates a seamless workflow for ticketing and billing. On top of that, it scales impressively well, handling thousands of endpoints without any significant performance loss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ConnectWise Automate? The interface feels outdated and unintuitive, which creates a steep learning curve for new technicians. The default monitoring setup is extremely noisy and takes significant tuning before it becomes genuinely useful. Patching configuration is also complex and easy to misconfigure, which can lead to gaps in coverage. There is a large disparity between capabilities in the installed application and browser-based capabilities. Naming conventions and changes to naming conventions are often difficult. I like ConnectWise Automate's features before it was set to sunset and then moved to other RMMs. It was valuable for remote staff as it offered tools that SCCM lacked, like paste tools and file transfer options, which a standard homebrew couldn't provide. ConnectWise Automate had quite a few bugs, with one of the major ones being breaking updates, which sometimes made it unable to remote in due to updates. Also, devices with similar properties would absorb one another. The MAC/Serial address absorption was definitely a bigger issue, and having to redo installs was not fun.
