**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Connecteam has been an absolute game-changer for our team! The platform is extremely user-friendly — everything is clearly laid out, easy to navigate, and intuitive even for those who aren’t very tech-savvy. It’s also very affordable, offering an incredible range of features at a fraction of the cost of other platforms we’ve tried.

What really sets Connecteam apart is their amazing customer support team. They’re responsive, professional, and go above and beyond to help. I especially appreciate that they provide video examples showing exactly how to execute specific tasks — it makes learning new features so much easier and faster.

Overall, I highly recommend Connecteam to any business looking for an efficient, easy-to-use, and well-supported management solution!

Connecteam has been an incredible asset for my business! **What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I love the time off feature. this upgraded our company tremendously from an excel file that just did not do the job it needed to do. It is so easy to use and implement into the company. We use this every single day. We haven't used integrations yet but we are excited to try that this year. The knowledge base videos and customer support are so nice to have as a guide if there is ever anything we do not understand right away.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

There isn't anything i can think about that i do not like...honestly. it is such a great program!

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have one spot to communicate now with our coworkers and connecteam is our first place to look instead of searching texts and emails and wechats, etc. we use updates to let the team know what is going on or if we have anything they need to know immediately. Employees now have immediate access to communicate with each other even as early as day one onboarding since we have the Employees tab that shows numbers, etc. We use events to show big things on the schedule that everyone needs to know and plan for as well as if anyone is taking a full day off work or longer so that our team can plan ahead for them being out of the office, as well as when our company is going to be out for holidays, etc. we have one employee right now that uses time clock for their personal preference but the rest of us use a different system right now, we might switch over soon. We just opened quick tasks this past week and i can't wait to start implementing it this week. FORMS is probably our most used category. Forms has helped us find ways to communicate product damage, tech support, employee incentives, equipment/supply requests, facility maintenance, incident reports, vehicle requests and so much more. We are just now starting to implement rewards this next week and i am excited for that, when our employee of the month gets awarded, it can now be done through there. :) celebrations is so nice because i can preplan what we are going to say for anniversaries, birthdays, etc. love it. Time off, is the best. So easy to use, i love tracking time off on here, it helped us upgrade from an excel sheet and honestly, time off is the whole reason i selected connecteam and i am so thankful i did because it has turned into a huge system that i don't think we could continue without.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I use Connecteam for a small team to create schedules, communicate, and store documentation. It helps massively with managing rotas and allows team members to liaise and swap shifts easily, while I can handle these changes with little effort because Connecteam does most of the work. I find Connecteam very user-friendly and intuitive. Whenever I have a question about features, it's usually answered within a few minutes through an AI chat.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The management of admin rights could be a little more streamlined. There are a few admins in my business and I am the sole owner, sometimes there are features that an admin automatically has access to even when they don’t necessarily need that access. The startup was quite overwhelming but that is only down to how much Connecteam can offer, but over time, the features have become clearer.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam helps massively with managing rotas, enabling team members to liaise and swap shifts easily while allowing me to administrate these changes seamlessly.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

The best feature on Connecteam is the scheduling tool. It has completely streamlined the shift management. Scheduling is always a tedious and time-consuming task that needs to be done. I can easily create and publish schedules, and instructors can see their shifts, request time off, update their availability, and find replacements, all in one place. Having it all in one spot is a dream for any manager! It has eliminated the back-and-forth chaos and saves a significant amount of time.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

What I find frustrating about Connecteam is how challenging it is to generate a report that shows hours worked for a particular job. Being able to see a detailed breakdown of the hours spent on each job, along with the associated labour costs, is crucial for managing our business effectively.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The greatest challenge that Connecteam helped us address was our timesheet process. Previously, we managed timesheets manually, which resulted in payroll mistakes, wasted time tracking down staff for their hours, and difficulties managing overtime. With the Time Clock feature and automated timesheets, these issues have been completely resolved. Now, we have precise records and a much more efficient process, saving us countless hours and putting an end to payroll-related frustrations.

As a nonprofit leader, I value how Connecteam helps us keep a diverse mix of staff, contractors, and volunteers aligned without adding extra overhead. Many of our team members work seasonally or part-time, so having one simple app where they can see schedules, receive updates, and log their time makes operations much smoother. It saves our small administrative team countless hours and allows us to focus more energy on delivering our mission.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

For nonprofits, budget is always a major factor. While the core features are solid, the need to “buy up” into higher pricing tiers to unlock certain tools can be a challenge. It sometimes feels like we outgrow the base package quickly, and that creates pressure on limited resources. More flexible pricing or nonprofit-specific options would make it easier for organizations like ours to fully adopt the platform.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam helps us overcome one of the biggest challenges in nonprofit management, which is coordinating a diverse team of full-time staff, part-timers, and volunteers across different programs. Before, schedules, updates, and tasks were scattered across emails, spreadsheets, and texts, which led to confusion and extra administrative work. Now, everything is centralized in one app. Staff and volunteers know exactly when they’re scheduled, can receive real-time updates, and can easily log their hours. This has saved us significant time, improved accountability, and allowed our small administrative team to focus more energy on fundraising, programming, and community impact.

I really enjoy using ConnectTeam and it is something we use daily! It’s such an easy and effective way to stay connected with my team. The platform keeps everyone organized and informed, whether we’re sharing updates, scheduling shifts, or just checking in. I appreciate how user-friendly it is, everything feels seamless and intuitive. It’s made communication smoother, improved collaboration, and helped our team stay on the same page no matter where we are. The only downside for me is that there are so many features and options that we don’t use. It can feel a little overwhelming at times, and I wish there were a way to simplify or hide the tools that aren’t relevant to our team.

We have a team that we don’t always get to see in person each day, and this makes it so easy to stay connected and feel like one cohesive group. **What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I like Connecteam's scheduling feature and how customizable it is. It helps keep everyone organized and on the same page. I also appreciate the location-based clock-in and out feature, which holds staff accountable to being on time since they can't check in for their shift until they're actually on location. This feature is also good for safety purposes. My assistant found the setup to be pretty easy and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Sometimes the chat doesn't work, either with the audio messages or just not receiving notifications for DMs even though my phone settings have this turned on. That's been frustrating, especially as the owner. The audio message options need fixing.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam keeps everything clear and organized for my team, my bookkeeper and me (the owner). The scheduling feature helps everyone stay organized, and location-based clock-in/out ensures staff accountability and safety.

What I like most is the ability to track staff clock in and clock out times. It makes payroll a lot easier. I also love the ability to schedule staff easily, allowing everyone to see their schedules.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Overall, Connecteam is a very good app to use. However it can improve by making clocking in easier. Before clocking in, staff experience having to confirm or dismiss certain items before being able to clock in, making it feel like an annoying pop-up. It would be better to be able to confirm or dismiss items after clocking in.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam offered my company to use their services for free for up to 10 employees which is very generous. It allows me to set up an account and use the app, to get a feel before paying for it. I'm planning to pay for the services once my company exceeds 10 employees.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I love using Connecteam because it's definitely user-friendly. My team really likes it, and they've had no complaints. We've tried others, and this has been the best so far. I can put memos out to my team, and they can reach out to me on there. They can improve their timesheets and make edits. It's just been really great for us. Connecting was great and super easy, even for my team, who can barely send an email. To get everyone in the system was definitely really easy for them.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I would definitely like the option to be able to use it just for a clock in, clock out. I don't necessarily need to manage the hours that they work because like I said, they work on a daily rate. So that's the only thing.

Connecteam helps me keep my team on track, know what they're doing and where they are. It tracks their time and ensures they clock in daily since they're paid on a daily rate.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I love Connecteam mainly for its timesheet. The guys can log their hours no matter where they are. Additionally, thanks to the schedule, they know where they need to go, on what date, and at what time. The ease of setup was also really easy.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I haven't gone into enough detail to see what I don't like. But as a suggestion for improvement, I would like to have the time report in decimal format rather than 6:15, 6:30, or 6:45. Especially when I download in CSV.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam allows for effective time tracking and facilitates schedule planning. I don't need to chase after hours, because the guys record their time easily, no matter where they are. Moreover, they always know where to go and at what time.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I like using Connecteam because it's so easy to log in and it's very secure with a one-time security code. It also detects when I'm logging in from a device, which is reassuring. One of the main things I appreciate is the efficient way of scheduling my team. It takes me less than half an hour to finish a week's schedule, whether I'm mixing and matching or copying from the previous week. This saves me a lot of time, which is something I'm looking for in a tool for my business. The initial setup was way easier, like signing up for a new app, and very straightforward with tutorials, an FAQ, and helpful videos. It's also free to use when I have less than 10 employees, which is great for a small business owner like me.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I think a bulk upload feature for payslips would be really helpful. Right now, I have to go into each person's profile individually to upload their pay stubs, entering the dates and period every time. A single upload for all pay stubs where I could just select the people involved would save a lot more time.

Connecteam helps me manage employee schedules without gaps or overlaps, especially on busy days. It's efficient for time management, allowing me to easily adjust schedules, copy weeks, and publish or unpublish as needed, saving me from repetitive date and time entry.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Connecteam is easy to use. They have great training videos to get you all set up and lead you through everything the first few times you use it. They have a wonderful notification system that will let you know when everyone has accepted their schedules, so if you need to remind people to accept or look at their schedule you can. They remind you of team birthdays and work anniversaries so you can celebrate those. You can celebrate those directly from the app as well as send reminders. You can communicate directly from the app with everyone on the team.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The only real downside we have come across when using connect team is the starting point only allows 10 people period. 12-15 people would be optimal as at least one of the people it is counting is the owner and they do not always have a schedule you would put out there for everyone to see.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I like Connecteam because it's displayed quite well and the layout is easy on the eye. I appreciate the way it's laid out since it's familiar, similar to an Excel spreadsheet, which makes the transition easier. Additionally, I like that you can choose the way it displays in other formats.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I found it difficult in the beginning. It was a bit strange to log on because we had to have, like, a strange made up mobile number. Also, there's two views, so it was difficult to decipher which view we needed to be in, admin or user, because we're both admins and users. It's quite clicky and quite clunky. It does take a while to get used to. I think it would be great to make it a little more intuitive and less clicky.

Connecteam simplifies scheduling and managing shifts, addressing the issues we had with Excel spreadsheets where people accidentally deleted data. It's visually appealing and offers multiple layout options. However, it still hasn't fully solved our scheduling challenges, particularly when directors need to cover shifts.

I like the fact that the app is mostly intuitive and fairly easy to use. The initial setup of Connecteam was very easy for me and my team.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I think there are a lot of features missing. We do not like the fact that you cannot clock in and select the task that you're working on. The clock in and out functions on the app are very kludgy and not very intuitive. It can be very frustrating at times. There are not features like standard reminders to clock out for lunch. There is no option to clock out for a break and then clock in from a break. And there are not options to clock in for drive time or to track drive time.

I use Connecteam to track our technicians' hours efficiently, solving problems with paper timesheets and inaccuracies in time calculation.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

What I like best about Connecteam is how everything is centralized in one app, from scheduling and time tracking to internal communication and task management. It’s super easy to use, even for team members who aren't very tech-savvy, and it really helps keep everyone on the same page without needing multiple tools.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Sometimes the app can be a bit slow to load, especially when there are a lot of updates or forms to go through. Also, while it's packed with features, it can feel a little overwhelming at first, there’s a bit of a learning curve for new users.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam is helping us streamline team communication, scheduling, and task management all in one place. Before, we were juggling multiple apps, and things would slip through the cracks. Now, I can easily assign tasks, track attendance, and communicate with the team without chasing people down. It’s saving me time, reducing confusion, and improving accountability across the board.

I like that Connecteam allows me to use it both as a phone app and provides the ability to download information for IRS compliance. It's also great that it offers a good way to track a job across multiple days, which was an issue with Housecall Pro. The initial setup was pretty easy, and even my construction team logged on and used it very well. I also appreciate the power available within the free version of the app.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Sometimes I struggle to get new jobs put in there, new job names. Or exclude some of my employees from logging their hours on certain jobs, but I think we've figured that out.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam allows my employees to log hours via a phone app, providing me with downloadable timesheets for bookkeeping. It tracks jobs across multiple days, which HouseCall Pro couldn't do, streamlining my company's scheduling and compliance needs.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I love that I can control what tasks I need my team to complete without going to each employee on my own or sending an email. I like that I can see who is contributing and who isn't and the ability to set deadlines.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I feel that the process to make reoccurring tasks could be improved. It confuses me when it says its going to unlink a task to make a minor change which then requires me to go through all future tasks and make sure I didn't lose anything.

Rescheduling shifts is challenging. There isn't an option to modify a whole series of shifts at once, so you have to update each shift individually or delete the entire series and start over. We have connected Connecteam to Salesforce and are using it as an all-in-one platform when we have Professional Development trainings that we need scheduled. It allows us to send over a session and have our trainers select it if they are available and then we can keep track of their schedules and shifts. It is very customizable and easy to setup.

We had to use Zapier to connect Salesforce to Connecteam. In the future it would be great if it had a native integration with Salesforce.

Getting away from email on staff communication has been a gigantic boon.  Typically, emails within our staff require replies, nuance, and confirmation.  Separating the communication lines of in-house from outside sources has really improved our ability to engage with our staff and indirectly made reading emails a lot less daunting too.  Not having to sort through reply chains is so nice, departmental communications and memos are a couple clicks away rather than a huge headache.  Allowing different subscriptions tiers for different features is incredibly convenient when taking a small business budget into consideration.  In the end, its the reason we went with Connecteam.  Could not imagine not having it, anymore.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

While I don't blame them, the salespeople tried to sell me on the full version of the product which was not required for my small business.  They went as far to say if we didn't purchase the full, much more expensive versions, it probably wouldn't work out.  They were so wrong, although we did upgrade some features after about a month of use.

Firstly, Connecteam is very easy to use, both on the admin end and the user end! I am the assistant manager of our business, so I am able to utilize the back end things - like uploading training information on Knowledge Base, for example; but then I am also able to utilize the things that our normal staff also use - the chat function or time clock.  Getting each employee signed up and logged in was super quick - just the click of a button! Second, it truly is something we use frequently. Every single day I am logging in and checking out something on the app. Third, quick tasks are amazing! Instead of texting multiple employees each day different things to do, I can just pop on and put down the tasks I know will need done either that day or that week. AND it's all in one place for everyone to see! So there's no going back to search, or wondering if the employee saw/read it or not. We are still easing into all of the functions, and are working on getting quizzes & courses up for new employees as they are hired! I have only had to use customer support a single time - and thats because they make it so clear & easy to use in the first place, that any issues are mitigated before they even start!

The only issue I have had so far is navigating the knowledge base. Sometimes I have trouble getting into categories or subcategories and finding the proper spot to upload.  But I believe this to be a user error more than a software error!

We struggle with team chats - at first we were using group messages via cell phone, but that isn't always easy if someone has an iphone or android, etc.  And we want employees to be able to enjoy their days off, and check work info only when headed into work.  We tried slack next, but it just wasn't as nice or engaging as Connecteam, nor does it have the same features that Connecteam does! So, while we were initially only looking for a teams messaging app, we now use it for so much more!

I love how intuitive Connecteam is. It was extremely easy to setup for my small business and to train my employees how to use it. It's so easy to use that even the employees I thought might have problems learning how to use it had no problems and could easily navigate thru the app after setting them up on it.

There's not really anything I dislike about Connecteam. If I could change just one thing, it might be the ability to upload one PDF file of all my employees' paychecks each pay period and Connecteam could figure out how to breakout each page of the PDF and assign the paycheck to the appropriate employer. I do not have a lot of employees since I'm a small business so for me this does not take a lot of time, but maybe for a bigger business it could be a little more time consuming.

I find Connecteam incredibly beneficial as it allows me to track my employees' hours daily, which is a significant improvement over receiving timesheets only weekly or bi-weekly. This feature helps me verify their working hours accurately and ensures accountability. Additionally, I appreciate the real-time location tracking feature, which lets me see where the employees are at any given moment. This functionality is particularly useful when employees travel for work or have to drive long distances, as it helps confirm their location when clocking in and out, ensuring they are where they are supposed to be. Furthermore, the initial setup of Connecteam was incredibly easy, which saved me a lot of time and made the transition to using the software smooth and hassle-free.

The ability to see a detailed view of planned shifts greatly enhances my planning efficiency, and the ease of creating templates for weeks and months allows me to set up a month’s shift plan with just two clicks, which is incredibly convenient. Additionally, the multiple selection feature is a lifesaver, making the whole process seamless. As an end user, I appreciate being able to easily view my assigned shifts via the mobile app, which simplifies my experience significantly. The initial setup was a breeze, just clicking to get things started, which streamlined the adoption process for our team. Furthermore, I was able to successfully choose Connecteam after conducting proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and comparing it with other products, which speaks volumes about its effectiveness and suitability for our needs.

I absolutely love using Connecteam for managing employee timeclock and payroll at our daycare center. It has significantly simplified the process of assigning shifts and handling payroll, making these tasks more efficient by allowing me to manage them for multiple employees simultaneously. I adore the system’s quick and precise hour calculations, which save our company a lot of time. One of my favorite features is the ease of adding holidays and PTO, along with the ability to create pay period PDFs seamlessly. The Connecteam app and system help me work more efficiently overall. Additionally, I find the platform very user-friendly, which makes it easy for me to set up my own profile and assist new employees in creating theirs. I am really pleased with the features I currently utilize as they function effectively for my needs without any issues. Therefore, I can confidently give it a 10 when recommending it to friends or colleagues for its simplicity in handling day-to-day tasks.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Connecteam has been a breath of fresh air for our frontline team.
The geo-location time clock means staff can only clock in and out within our work area, so timesheets are accurate and the “I was there, promise” debates have vanished. 

Messaging is dead easy and lives in the same app as everything else, so we’ve stopped juggling WhatsApp, emails and sticky notes. 

Plugging into Xero was painless and payroll now takes minutes, not a morning. 

As a small charity, we’ve genuinely been wowed by how much value we get without paying a penny right now — the free plan covers what we actually need. For transparency, the more advanced bits (heavy automation/API, unlimited bells and whistles) sit on higher tiers, which is fair.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Only gripe: there’s no offline mode, so make sure you’ve got signal where people clock in. Otherwise, it’s one app, less faff, better control — and terrific value for small teams.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam solved three headaches at once: accurate timekeeping, scattered comms and messy payroll. Geofenced clock-ins stopped off-site punches, in-app messaging replaced our WhatsApp chaos, and the Xero connection removed double-entry and errors. As a small charity, getting all that in one place has saved us real admin time and improved accountability.
