Connectbase has 'turned a corner' for INDATEL and now appears to accurately portray and price our inventory for Layer 2 EVPL in a combined Instance.  Connectbase is emerging as the 'gold standard' in the telecom industry.

**What do you dislike about Connectbase?**

Over the past couple years, Connectbase has struggled to maintain and support an excellent customer experience.  I've experienced a significant change which, based on discussions with Connectbase appears to be sustainable and permanent.

Connectbase has and will continue to add and deploy expert resources to support the increasing demand for high-quality service and support.

Don't bite off the whole platform at once. Work with their team to develop an roadmap of where you want to go.  Take advantage of their implementation/support team and don't be afraid to raise questions and concerns.

One platform for sales teams to see network and gain sales leads. Generating intelligent OnNet reports. Ability to send building lists to customer in their preferred format with a click of a button.

Maybe the stages that we need to step on befoe completely use it, but I think its the common way to function.

Not having to use another tab outside the one I'm working on and having instant information without loading the request again.

Connectbase is very helpful in making a business plan and connecting with the adequate clients and external partners

The team was really helpful in my experience and they don't stop improving based on the reviews and the needs.

The main problem was finding the key to the adequate network in the business, and finding the right marketing strategy.

**What do you like best about Connectbase?**

My team sales team uses it to see who they are competing with and my buying team uses it to see who they can source from. We also use it to share location and pricing out to our buyers and if our vendors provide pricing in Connectbase it makes it so much easier to price out our offnet and get it back to sales so they can close their deals faster.  I also use it to look at our network in proximity to prospects.

**What do you dislike about Connectbase?**

They are growing so fast, that sometimes you have to wait for special requests. I have made suggestions on things that would help me solve a problem or make it easier to use and just about all of them have been implemented so really no complaints.

**What problems is Connectbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If I can send/receive pricing from other providers using the Connectbase API that is the biggest help as data changes frequently and it doesn't have to be manually updated. I wish every carrier would use it. I prioritize buying from vendors using it as the faster I can respond to a quote the more likely we get the business.

I also use it to see who I am competing with so I can understand price setting. If I have no competition I am going to charge more vs a location that is saturated.

Right now I am working on developing a new state and I needed to see all the providers who were close enough to my network so I could buy from them in market as well as see if I could offer a mid-haul business to connect their regional network and I was able to turn on my routes and layers showing servicing areas so I could direct my team to the appropriate networks with a clear understanding of possible use cases.

The ease of seeing providers at locations. The ability to use lat/long or address. Its a very clean interface. Calculating distances is a nice feature and uploading multiple sites into the platform is a great feature

**What do you dislike about Connectbase?**

Lat/longs almost always work accuratly, but there still seems to be mapping issues when putting addresses in. When using the measuring tool, i have found no way to unclick it when done, and have to close the program to reset it.

**Recommendations to others considering Connectbase:**

Mapping accuracy is key. It is about 80-90% accurate but really need a system thats closer to 98%

**What problems is Connectbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huge benefits for being able to see which sites are possibilities for us. Great to be able to upload a csv file on hundreds of sites to overlay them with out network. The ability to see other's networks is a huge help and saves endless hours on quoting

I use Connectbase every day and is an integral part in doing my diligence to qualify for opportunities. ConnectBase helps me gather information including competitive landscape and fiber availability

**What do you dislike about Connectbase?**

I wish the layers of fiber on the map were more easily 'clickable' when viewing a densely populated area. This may not be an easy fix as there is so much fiber in high traffic areas but being able to see All competitors on one location would be easier to view.

I can provide sharper pricing to customers when I know there are more competitors in an area that we have fiber and gives me a more compelling argument to my management team to be more aggressive to win a solution.

I think it is pricy to get some services from Connectbase, such as pulling our near-nets, etc.

It really helps when I need to justify a build by pulling market info in the area of the build.

I have not discovered a downside. We went from multiple Excel spreadsheets to Connectbase, so the improvement is 10-fold.

We have found that using Connect Base has saved us countless manhours. We had a very manual process to track fiber locations, and even more fragmented was our tracking of other carrier networks. Once we started using ConnectBase, we realized we had very powerful tools at our fingertips.

Near net location lists. The accuracy coming from Connect base improves every month.

Connectbase has become a frequently used tool for our entire team.

There is not anything I dislike. It can be challenging to locate certain addresses but that is a function of the address itself, not the database. If I had one wish it would be for the fiber routes to be a little more accurate and detailed.

ConnectBase is a very flexible system for the bread and butter aspect for a Carrier/Wholesale provider. It can enhance sales with the ease of the Connected World platform and also its CPQ provides multi-term, multi-product, and multi- location quotes to the  customers.

Thus far, have not encounterd anybaspect of the platform to dislike.

Connectbase allows us to have one source to get quotes from all carriers. The list of tenants in buildings is excellent for prospecting.

It has been difficult to get broadband quotes from some carriers working properly.

I like the fact that the vast majority of my carrier customers use Connectbase

**What do you dislike about Connectbase?**

It's sometimes difficult to know what services  we purchased from the platform and if you didn't it is usually expensive to what you need

**What problems is Connectbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to have our on-net/near-net list seen by our customers via the Connectbase API and so they wait any longer for us to send out a new updated on-net/near-net address list.

I can enter an address of a commercial building and immediately get the tenant info of that building.

The accuracy of the tenant data was suspect in the beginning. C2F stepped up and corrected the majority of the issues.

The support is outstanding and they are more than happy to customize it to what you need to have to make the most impact

It solves the mystery of the opportunity of a potential target market and helps us determine the validity of building into a specific market.

**What do you like best about Connectbase?**

What has been most helpful with this platform has been the CPQ portal. The CPQ feature has significantly helped me with bulk quote requests. Before C2F, I would have to search manually for the providers available on a site per-site basis. However, C2F has saved me a lot of time since they automatically do the provider search for you. The results are accurate for the most part. C2F has also helped display what DIA providers might be available for an address. Furthermore, if I don't have an existing relationship with a particular provider that partners with C2F, C2F is willing to make that introduction.

**What do you dislike about Connectbase?**

The main downside to C2F is that accuracy seems to vary by provider. The main issue we have seen has been with AT&T. What may display as on-net on the CPQ portal may not be on-net on AT&T's APEX portal. Thus, we do find ourselves having to verify CPQ results on our direct vendor portals. Another thing I wish was more accurate on C2F is the DSL speeds that are available per site. C2F's DSL speeds available with Lumen are not always what we see on our Lumen Vendor Control Center portal. For DSL speeds with C2F, I checked on both the pricing tool and CPQ results.

**Recommendations to others considering Connectbase:**

I would recommend them to have C2F walk them through all the features. A 3-day demo may be helpful to see if C2F is a valuable tool that they can see utilizing daily.

**What problems is Connectbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of our problems that C2F helped solve was connecting us with providers in Alaska. Our rep has provided virtual introductions for various providers, who we have been able to add as new partners. We have also been able to contact new vendors through C2F, who were nonresponsive when we reached out directly.

**What do you like best about Connectbase?**

C2F has a huge database of provider lit building lists and pricing. The APIs allow great flexibility in finding relevant providers, products, services to meet our quote team's needs. The C2F team is always helpful in resolving issues and listening to our input/feedback for improving their site and APIs.

**What do you dislike about Connectbase?**

Within the site, there are a lot of overlapping/somewhat confusing tools and views that make it sometimes difficult to know where exactly to go. A single sign-on would also be very helpful while navigating across different tools in the C2F environment

**What problems is Connectbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer have to maintain spreadsheets/internal databases with large lit building lists. The benefits are that we can more easily and quickly determine serviceability and return pricing information without the use for individual files. Quicker turnaround time means better responsiveness to our sales team and better opportunities for customers.

**What do you like best about Connectbase?**

The best thing about C2F is their team. They are always there to put a set of eyes on things, whether good or bad, which is unusual for a software company. They constantly strive to make improvements in the data they provide and customer feedback is not only acknowledged, its often implemented too. In the time since we started using C2F, we have added almost a dozen new carriers to our portfolio, both large and small, and it has enabled us to pass significant savigs and choices on to our channel and customer base.

**What do you dislike about Connectbase?**

If I had to find a flaw with C2F it would be the UI. I can appreciate that the system does its core function so well and the staff is so on top everything that the UI could be overlooked, but in comparison to other services it does feel a bit dated.

**Recommendations to others considering Connectbase:**

If your business requires a tool like this, there really is no competition out there. C2F's team and data are far ahead of the one or two other providers who offer a similar service

**What problems is Connectbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a tier 2 provider, we rely heavily on our carrier relationships. C2F allows me to expand my network reach by connecting me to fiber providers who can service my customers immediate needs. Over time we built enough relationships to the point where we are now able to competitively bid out each request with over 2 dozen carriers -- leading to greater choice, better rates, and increaed margins.

The most helpful aspect is unlocking nationwide serviceability and pricing understanding for our team. We can take on any Type II/III opportunity presented to us and quickly provide our internal partners the information needed to turn that opportunity into reality.

Our team found the user interface a bit challenging for our business needs. Also, there are times where the APIs which we connect to don't provide ALL the information we want in one succinct package, which requires additional work by our development team.

**What problems is Connectbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've already solved for immediate serviceability checks and are continuing to solve for pricing and quoting using the CPQ API in our internal toolset. We aim to align as much of our provider's pricing as possible in our C2F instance so that we can scale using C2F APIs in the long term.

The account team at C2F ensures that our instance is exactly what we need for our sales, marketing and other purposes. Being able to view the market and our competitors in relation to our network and buildings is invaluable to us.

What is there to dislike? Any concern or suggestion I've ever had has been taking into account by the development team and our account team. New features are being added all the time.

We are able to see more potential Prospects within C2F than we could previously because we can see them in relation to our building and our network paths. We also are able to keep on top of the changing requirements by Carrier providers for the correct format for submitting information (such as our building list) to them to increase our sales.

I wish uploaded addresses could be displayed within the Connected World map view and shown in relation to available fiber.  When scrolling into view a searchable address location, the location icon disappears as you scroll in and out.  This results in having to re-enter the address in the search box again to make it reappear

**What problems is Connectbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In a much more efficient manner, my team is able to find potential vendor partners to purchase transport and/or broadband services for in support of our customers.  We used to utilize several different applications or data sources and we're now able to find this information within Connected World.   We've identified vendors we didn't know offered services in a given area and have developed a handful of new beneficial partnerships.
