**What do you like best about Connect to AD?**

I like how Connect to AD lowers the barrier to entry, as dealing with APIs can get really hairy. It offers something that's sharp and robust, yet easy to use, and scales really well. It's nice to see something lightweight in an era where everything is cloud-based, requiring only a key to run smoothly. It's very powerful for making integrations work. I also appreciate how the most basic C# expressions can be used for filtering and conditioning, which is really nice. These features scale well across a variety of situations, filling gaps where needed and being accurate for creating and editing user accounts as well as handling notifications. The initial setup was fairly easy to handle on my own, and the team was very helpful and resourceful when integration started, ensuring everything was well set up.

**What do you dislike about Connect to AD?**

The notification platform is based on email server authentication. If something happens on the Connect to AD side and we want to be notified, it sends an email. It would be great if there were ways to integrate Connect to AD directly with an API of third-party applications, primarily IT service desk applications like SolarWinds or Jira, so we don't have to have a middleman of an email inbox collecting all of those notifications.

I use Connect to AD to centralize and automate workflows between HR and IT, reducing dependency on ad hoc emails or scattered IT tickets.

**What do you like best about Connect to AD?**

The implementation process went really smoothly. Janco helped us through every step and made sure everything was set up correctly. What stood out to me was how detailed their support articles are, they explain every little part of the app, which made it easy to understand how things work. The support team has also been great whenever we’ve had questions.

**What do you dislike about Connect to AD?**

There’s honestly not much to dislike. The setup took a bit of coordination, but once it was in place, everything started syncing perfectly.

**What problems is Connect to AD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re using it to sync UKG Ready with Entra ID, and it’s been a big help. All the user updates now happen automatically, and we no longer have to do anything manually. It’s one less thing to worry about, and it’s been working really well since we went live.

I was really impressed with how easy it was to integrate UKG Ready with Entra ID for our client in the construction industry. The whole process was smooth, and there were no complications along the way. The tool handled everything automatically, syncing the user data without us having to lift a finger.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything I disliked. The integration went as planned, within the timeframe and the system has been running without a hitch since then.

If the machine's clock is out of sync with the domain controller, Kerberos may fail. DNS issues are also common — if it doesn't resolve the domain name correctly, nothing works.

had the chance to observe and participate in the implementation of Connect to AD, and it was an amazing learning experience. The tool made syncing UKG Pro with Active Directory smooth and hassle-free. It’s super easy to set up, and once it's done, everything runs automatically.

The available data points in both UKG and AD are sufficient to facilitate a complete and accurate data sync. Installation of the application client on a server is straightforward and well-documented. The product has not had a feature yet to create new AD OU (or delete) to facilitate the change of the organization structure.

**What do you like best about Connect to AD?**

Since the begining, Wes and Vanessa were super responsive and always replied to our questions quickly, even before we made any commitment. That gave us a lot of trust. The implementation was pretty straight forward and honestly, Connect to AD just works! it does exactly what it says it will do.

To be honest, there's nothing I really disliked. Everything went smooth and the team was helpful all the way.

We needed a way to sync our UKG users automatically to AD without manual entry or custom scripting every time something changed. Connect to AD solved that issue right away. It helped us save a lot of time and reduced errors, especially during onboarding or offboarding. It just runs in the background and takes care of everything for us.

I worked directly with Rayden during the implementation, and the process was smooth from start to finish. In just 3 weeks, everything was fully synced, and we didn’t need to worry about any manual steps.

Honestly, nothing significant. Everything worked as expected. The only hesitation we had was before signing, when comparing it with other tools, but once we moved forward, the experience was very positive.

Wes made sure we got clear information from the start. The quoting process was transparent and the 
cost was better than other options we looked at. Setup was quick and the tool works without any

It covered only 95% of what we needed. The remaining 5% was a unique case for us, but the team 
helped us find a good workaround

Uau, we should have found this tool long ago! I was using a ticket system for 5 years to handle user provisioning, deprovisioning, group mappings, job attributes, and all sorts of AD tasks. Connect to AD has completely eliminated the need for that, now everything is automatically synced with UKG. It's a huge time-saver!

There’s really nothing to dislike. It’s almost a year since we started working with Connect to AD, and everything is working smoothly

**What do you like best about Connect to AD?**

When we migrated from another HRIS to UKG Pro, we needed to update our existing automation around user creation and maintenance in multiple on-prem Active Directory forests. ConnectToAD does this perfectly. It can create, maintain, manipulate, enable and disable accounts, manage group membership and more. It can also sync an email attribute from AD back to UKG for SSO purposes. The per-year pricing was very reasonable compared to other tools and given that we would not have to develop an in-house solution.

Onboarding with ConnectToAD support was a breeze. The only slowdown was ensuring our AD was configured as needed and all users could be uniquely identified and matched to their UKG Pro employee record.

I have contacted ConnectToAD support several times to assist us with particularly tricky logic statements required by our complex environment and so can vouch that their support is responsive and knows their product

Take it from this overworked sys admin: if you need to sync UKG Pro employees to on-prem Active Directory, don't bother writing your own scripts or looking into other tools. ConnectToAD is the single tool you need to automate your user provisioning and lifecycle.

**What do you dislike about Connect to AD?**

I have no complaints about ConnectToAD. The tool itself works as advertised. It does exactly what it says it will do, and just keeps running per our set schedule.

Caution though: if your AD is a mess or unhealthy, you'll want to get that straightened out before implementing this or any other automation tool. The amount of customization you can do with ConnectToAD can be daunting and will be doubly so if your AD user management is not already somewhat standardized or your AD has underlying health issues.

We needed to automate our on-prem Active Directory user lifecycle, using the HRIS, UKG Pro, as the single source of truth for employee's details. ConnectToAD does exactly this.

The integration was  fast. In just 3 weeks, we completely stopped relying on our old ticket systems and error-prone scripts. Connect to AD made the process smooth and efficient, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

We had to take a "go slow" approach to the implementation process because we wanted to confirm that all changes were going to be correct

Connect to AD was easy to implement and is very customizable to our use-cases.

**What do you dislike about Connect to AD?**

That is doesn't support Azure AD yet, they did say they were working on that and that it would support Azure AD very soon.

Connect to AD automatically integrates UKG and Active Directory, removing the need for manual data entry in multiple systems.

Our Active Directory is now accurate because it's automatically integrated.
