"Secure EU-Hosted Compliance Solution with Customization Needs"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Confrere?

I value Confrere's banking-friendly, EU-hosted secure architecture and simple guest access. Its exclusive European data storage and tamper-proof session archives are irreplaceable for regulated banking work, allowing me to instantly pull complete, regulator-accepted audit files without mishandling sensitive client financial data. The one-click guest access drastically boosts completion rates for compliance questionnaires and remote ID validation by allowing clients to join without complex setup. I also appreciate the built-in in-meeting note tool for structured compliance work, which logs action items and customer concerns in real time, creating a unified audit trail. Moreover, its lightweight design focuses on secure one-on-one client interviews and small internal reviews, making training quick for team members with limited tech experience. The permanent, searchable session tagging system is extremely useful for organizing survey-related consultations, allowing me to filter and export records efficiently. What do you dislike about Confrere?

A key drawback is that Confrere lacks native integration with SurveyCTO and our nTireCRM system. I must manually export meeting logs and consultation notes, then cross-reference them offline to link video interview records to each customer’s survey responses and banking profile. There are also no pre-built German banking compliance call templates, so I draft every consultation agenda and verification checklist from scratch each time. "Secure, Easy Video Consultations with Room for Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Confrere?

I like that Confrere is really good for clients to join a session or meeting. It's safe because I can use my own meeting room, create my URL, and then send it to my team and others. The meetings are secure and private because the data protection and encryption are strong. Plus, the video quality is really good and it adjusts well. The setup is easy to use, with simple configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confrere?

There are some points to improve like Confrere works well but requires using third-party apps like calendars and other tools. I think its pricing is too high. Confrere can be sensitive to weak or unstable internet connections. I wish the group call features were increased because there are limited features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Professional Simplicity: No Downloads, No Friction."
4/5
What do you like best about Confrere?

One of the most appreciated features is that clients or patients can join a video call instantly via a link, without having to install any software, create an account, or remember a password. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confrere?

Limited Participant Capacity: One of the biggest drawbacks is that it supports only up to four participants in a single call. That limitation makes it a poor fit for larger team meetings or group therapy sessions where more people need to join at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined One-on-One Conversations, Lacks Multi-Participant Support"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Confrere?

I appreciate Confrere's browser-native access paired with built-in GDPR-ready security, alongside its streamlined one-on-one focus and convenient in-call note-taking function. The plugin-free, browser-only entry is a huge advantage as participants can simply click the shared link to join meetings without downloading or installing extra software, which keeps discussions on time. Its strong data protection with default encryption lets us handle confidential client information and executive schedules confidently, adhering to GDPR rules. I also favor its minimalist interface tailored for one-on-one conversations, free from unnecessary features, allowing us to stay focused during business talks. The integrated note-taking tool is extremely practical, letting me jot down key points directly during calls and file them efficiently later. Confrere's simplicity, reliability, and compliance make it indispensable for our daily operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confrere?

It lacks support for multi-participant group sessions. Our team occasionally needs small group discussions with two or three clients plus our executives to align on project arrangements or review service details. Since Confrere is strictly built for one-on-one conversations, we cannot add extra attendees to an ongoing call. Every time this happens, we have to switch to another conference tool temporarily, which interrupts our unified communication process. It would be ideal if the developer could add support for small group calls of 3 to 5 people, while still keeping the interface lightweight and focused. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Easy, and Surprisingly Reliable"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Confrere?

Honestly, the best thing about Confrere is how simple and no-nonsense it is. It just works. I don’t have to explain anything to the other person or deal with downloads, links, or technical issues — you just open it and start. That saves a lot of time and frustration.

I also like that it feels very focused. It’s not trying to do everything like other platforms, so it’s faster, cleaner, and more reliable. For me, that straightforward experience is what really stands out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confrere?

If I’m being honest, it can feel a bit too minimal at times. While the simplicity is great, there are moments when I wish it had a few more features or customization options. Also, compared to bigger platforms, it doesn’t always feel as flexible for different use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Client-Friendly Video Consultations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Confrere?

I use Confrere for conducting one-to-one video consultations with clients and I find it secure and easy to access without downloads, which is really convenient. It works well for professional meetings where privacy and reliability are important. I really like that clients can join sessions easily without needing to download anything or sign up, and the platform feels secure and reliable for handling sensitive conversations. I also appreciate its clean interface and consistent video quality, which keeps each session professional and uninterrupted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confrere?

While Confrere works well overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. More customization options for the interface and branding would be helpful. Occasionally, having additional in-call features like improved chat or file sharing would enhance the experience. It would also be useful to have more detailed analytics or session summaries to better track usage and performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Private Video Calls with Room for Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Confrere?

I use Confrere for secure, one-on-one video calls. I found it very simple to use, and it's way less clustered. What I like most about Confrere is the total privacy I get and the fact that I don't have to install any app. I like the fact that it works on all my devices, and again, it's not clustered. It saves me time, and it's super stable. Initially, it was quite hard, but then I got the hang of it, and it's been very easy to use now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confrere?

Maybe try to add a feature where I can have a group call. It gets really when more than 2 or 3 people are on a call, it's almost like it was built for just one-on-one calls. It was quite hard at first but then I got the hang of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Effective Meetings with Easy Setup"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Confrere?

I like how Confrere makes it easy to start and join meetings without needing much technical knowledge. The audio quality is clear, and I appreciate the useful features like screen sharing and recording without complicated processes. I also like how meetings can be quickly set up and shared with others, and it works well across different devices, allowing people to join from a phone or computer. The simple interface makes it easy to use and helps focus on the meeting. I find the initial setup smooth and quick, without requiring much time or technical help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confrere?

One thing that does not work for me is that the interface feels basic compared to some newer meeting tools. Sometimes the audio quality depends on the internet connection. I think improving the user interface and adding more advanced features could enhance the experience. It would also be helpful if Confrere handled very low and unstable internet connections better to ensure meetings run more smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Meetings, Effortless Setup"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Confrere?

I like Confrere's clean interface, which saves me time and makes it easy to conduct smooth virtual meetings. The reliable video quality avoids disruptions during calls, and the ease of connection removes technical barriers so clients can join meetings quickly and without trouble. I also switched from Zoom to Confrere mainly because it simplifies the meeting experience. Additionally, the initial setup of Confrere was very easy with quick account creation, making it a user-friendly option for professional use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confrere?

Sometimes minor lag occurs with weak internet and I'd like more control over meeting layouts, branding options, and notification settings so the interface can better match different use cases and client preferences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Client-Friendly, Ideal for One-on-One Meetings"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Confrere?

I love that Confrere lets me maintain a professional look by customizing the interface with my own business branding and logo. It's super intuitive, and I get a notification when a client is knocking at my digital door. I really appreciate how easy the initial setup was, and it's great for solving issues with clients who are busy or not tech-savvy by eliminating the need for them to download software, create accounts, or remember passwords. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confrere?

If I ever need to run a larger team meeting or a workshop with over 10 people, I'm forced to switch over to something like Zoom or Google Meet because Confrere is really optimized for 1-on-1s or very small groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
