Configure One's platform makes it an easy bolt on to other systems. It is robust, flexible and fairly intuitive. I have used a few different CPQ tools over the past 20 years and I haven't seen one that can offer Quote to Order, Graphics and ease of use like Configure One can. Over the past two years, Configure One has invested a lot of effort and resources into the evolving CPQ landscape, bringing in a best in class visual 3D configurator (integrated into it's software), developing towards a stunning UI/UX and adding a lot of much needed functionality into their core software. The robust nature of this platform (that is, not being tied to a specific ERP system) meant that the software needed to be extended significantly to make it work for our businesses. This makes the CPQ system compatible with our business processes and our ERP system, but will need to be rebuilt when we want to upgrade to the next release. Their newest release is built to be more portable, and we shouldn't have to re-build all of the extensions next time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Configure One Cloud: Make sure your product lines are cleanly defined and don't underestimate the effort required to build the configurations. If you're planning on doing the configuration work in parallel to an ERP implementation, expect the ERP implementation team to want data to submit, which will be coming from Configure One. Our product line is fairly complex, it needs to be configured to ensure the components are compatible with each other. We needed an easy to use tool to make sure the products submitted to our ERP system would work for our customer.
