What do you like best about Configure One Cloud?

The logic functionality allows for a vast array of possibilities. As a business analyst, the ability to run queries against the configure one database to find various information is a big plus. The system looks good and there are many possibilities that we can use the system for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Configure One Cloud?

The UI seems overly complex with a lot of menu items which aren't always clear. Some things require a significant amount of configuration for a minor outcome. We also have had to come up with various work arounds or solutions to different problems that do not come as standard with configure one. Many of these are problems that we felt are likely common practice for companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Configure One Cloud?

Tons of functionality, there is always a way to achieve the configuration rules or objective that you're trying to achieve without the need to customize the software. Sometimes there are several ways of achieving the same result - each way with its own pros / cons. Almost everything else in Configure 1 follows a similar process to achieve the result, making it very easy to learn the interface.

We have implemented using the SaaS model, and haven't had a single interruption to our live (or development) databases.

The online help desk system has also been very effective. It is a modern interface with a community forum type of feel. The knowledge base is extensive, and it's very easy to enter a few keywords and find out more about what you're searching for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Configure One Cloud?

There are no "out of the box" reports to start with. All reports have to be created from scratch, and it doesn't follow the same "themes" found in the rest of the software solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Configure One Cloud?

We are about 50% of the way through our implementation, and the support team has proven knowledgeable and responsive. Configure One is an incredibly capable CPQ platform. It has addressed all of our needs from a configuration logic, pricing and output documentation standpoint standpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Configure One Cloud?

The online help tools are sometimes too shallow in helping answer questions about how to accomplish something. It would be helpful if these pages showed detailed examples of the steps involved in performing some element of a configuration. Another suggestion is to include the required menu selections at the top of the help topic. I find myself reading a help article and then having to search menu by menu for the item through the Admin menus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Product for Our Customers"
5/5
What do you like best about Configure One Cloud?

Flexibility it allows our customers to have when using our tool. we can incorporate our own branding, look and feel. They are able to access specific products that require our audience to spec out projects in a timely manner and all online. Very flexible with API's we may want to consider using in the future, such as a CRM or Augmented reality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Configure One Cloud?

Trouble with customizing login screen, and other areas related to mobile devices. Need to know some coding and programing to help assist in launching on time. The mobile enhancement is a different tier in pricing I think as well, so not having that as part of every plan was a concern for our audience. It also took a little bit of time to launch due to all the customizations we wanted to complete so we had specific branding. We did not have a big team working on it, so we had to rely on support and just gaining knowledge for ourselves to implement the product out to our customers. "The real deal."

What do you like best about Configure One Cloud?

There are no up sells with C1. There are no hidden costs. The software is really flexible and great at adapting to your manufacturing needs. I was also impressed with their team of professionals. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and does what ever it takes to obtain your visions or find a solution to help advance your company. There is a great level of organization shown C1 and their trouble ticket system is great and keeps everyone on task during any issue or customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Configure One Cloud?

That they are not more advanced in the ERP side of things. They are not really an ERP company but if they were, it would be an amazing solution for a lot of manufacturers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Configure One Cloud?

Providing rules-based product configuration interfaces to our channel partners and customers allows us to provide a quick and intuitive means of getting familiar with our products, eliminates countless errors during the quotation process, and streamlines the order review process. What do you dislike about Configure One Cloud?

Configuration interfaces are designed to 'roll-up' all associated sub-components into a top-level BOM. If your business requires that some items be listed as line items, you may have to identify some work-arounds to this constraint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great people, great company."

What do you like best about Configure One Cloud?

I really like the people I have had the pleasure of meeting at Configure One. They are *very* good at what they do, experts at finding solutions, and very friendly to boot.

And the Configure One configurator has made a major impact at our company - it has changed the way we run an entire division, and continues to do so.

I also like the business model as a whole, which follows the feed a man a fish/teach a man to fish concept. It is unique that they offer training to users which allows them to do things (very complicated things) on their own rather than force them to remain dependent on Configure One. Conversely, one can choose to hire Configure One to do the work for them. It is a very flexible model and one that works well for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Configure One Cloud?

There is little for me to dislike. Even when I find I need some functionality their software does not offer, they can often find a way to make it happen by writing custom programs for our implementation.

My biggest complaint would be lack of documentation or help interface within the software. I find myself asking "where was that setting again?" fairly often. The notes I took during training are my main go-to to answer that question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong Product, Great Customer Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Configure One Cloud?

Everything on their platform is configurable, so as an Admin I have a lot of power to make lots of adjustments to what the users can see and do on the platform. They have provided a free or easy fix for almost every issue that I have brought to their attention. I also like their ticketing system, it's helped me ensure that their are no open action items on my side.

They have also been totally flexible with us adjusting the deadlines of projects, and they have worked to make the transition from an old version to a newer version very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Configure One Cloud?

I think that some of the logic for different aspects of the platform is unique to Configure One, so it's not always 100% intuitive to find the solution myself. But any time I find an issue, Configure One is generally able to resolve it pretty quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"This configurator is helping to shape the future of our company"
5/5
What do you like best about Configure One Cloud?

We have many different styles of machines and accessories. It is very complicated and it usually takes a new salesman a long time to understand what machine works best for each application. We used the Configure One configurator to help us develop rules around what machine types work for each application. The sales person answers the questions in the configurator and then the configurator tells them which machine works best. The configurator also generates a quote and compiles all the extra documents needed to fulfill the order.

It is easy to program inside Configure One. We have developed a very complex configurator in less than a year. The team at Configure One has been very helpful through the whole process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Configure One Cloud?

We wanted to add dynamic pricing inside the configurator under another question. I could not find a way to do this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very good system, some limitations"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Configure One Cloud?

I like the fact it is very easy to learn, and very easy to quickly build something of use. The pricing methods, and flexibility of the system allow you to achieve no end of results for various configurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Configure One Cloud?

Due to the fact it is an out of the box system, it has quite a few limitations. Not being able to calculate deliveries is a massive problem for our business as it adds manual work back in. The cost of having changes made, as well as support is very high, other companies I’ve dealt with will do a lot of small tweaks FOC, or at even up to half the cost of developments I’ve requested from yourselves.
