"Solid SEO basics, but web tracking expectations fell short"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

From an organic search perspective, it’s pretty much everything you’d expect from a system that’s connected to your analytics account and tracks keywords—covering the SEO basics you need and doing a solid job of keeping those fundamentals in one place. The workspaces section is intuitive and the new pages section is great, along with the pages grouping. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

My biggest frustrations are: a) I signed a 2-year agreement right before new features launched, and now I’m stuck on an older pricing structure based on keywords that feels moot. I’ve tried to discuss revising the agreement for the final year, but those conversations haven’t progressed. b) In my initial discussions, I was led to believe I’d have more web tracking capabilities like those in SEMRush, only to find that those features are part of a separate monitoring section/platform that wasn’t included in my original agreement. c) I was sold on the content writing portion of the platform after seeing a LinkedIn video with comparisons, and it really hooked me. But I later found that the content writing score can change even when the content itself hasn’t, which makes it hard to trust the results. d) The AI tracking is tied to credits. For one, it wasn’t available when I signed, so it wasn’t part of my initial agreement. And I’d prefer a flat price to track all AI search (like SEMRush does, which I almost chose and will most likely go back to once my contract is over). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great SEO Insights with Room for UX Improvement"
2/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

I like that Conductor is not just a tracking tool. It really helps me understand what to do next, like identifying content gaps or spotting quick wins, and seeing where competitors are outperforming us. This makes it easier to prioritize work instead of just reporting on it. I really value it from a reporting perspective, as it's strong in translating SEO performance into metrics stakeholders care about, like visibility, clicks, and growth. This helps when presenting to clients or senior teams, bridging the gap between SEO metrics and commercial impact. Another feature I appreciate is the real-time monitoring and tech insights. Having that layer for site health and alerts means I'm not just reacting to performance drops but can proactively catch issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

The main issue for me is that the platform can feel a bit clunky and not always intuitive, especially when you're trying to move between scenarios or workflows. At times, it takes longer than it should to find specific data or switch between views, which can slow things down when you're working quickly. I also think the UX could be streamlined, particularly for day-to-day use. There's a lot of functionality in there, which is great but it can be a bit overwhelming, and not everything is surfaced in the most user-friendly way. A cleaner, more simplified interface would make it easier to get to insights faster. Also, the initial setup was difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ahead of SEO Trends with Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

I like that Conductor is always improving the platform with updates and new technology, which keeps up with the ever-evolving search landscape. They are ahead of the curve, and our Conductor consultant, whom we meet with biweekly, has been critical to our SEO success. The AI writing assistant has been a huge help, and the AI search tracking helps us try to stay ahead of the curve with AI search. The initial setup of Conductor was also very easy. What do you dislike about Conductor?

There are so many amazing reports and dashboards but we have always had trouble with the report date filters - it is a bit clunky and really doesn't like when you try to input custom dates but it does have some standard options to choose from. Also with the new features the pay structure has changed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined SEO Insights & Growing for AI Visibility"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

I like that Conductor is very non-practitioner-friendly, making it easy for me to create workspaces that others on different teams can understand and act on without much additional input from me. I value how Conductor considers the impact of insights across different departments and makes information accessible and shareable, even for those not in an SEO-centric role. I use market share charts regularly to highlight performance in meetings, including executive ones, and the information is presented clearly, minimizing misunderstandings. It's also great that interested parties have the option to create their own workspaces to capture info that is most helpful to them. The initial setup was pretty simple, especially with the supportive help from their customer service team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

It's still early days for their AI features, and it can be slow to load reports at times. You generally can only compare data WoW rather than selecting individual days. I've also struggled at times to export the volume of data I'd hope to pull out of the platform, since we have an enterprise-sized site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient SEO Tool with User-Friendly Interface"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

I like Conductor's interface because it's user-friendly, making it quick to find what I need. I love how their marketplace is an option to basically extend our team without hiring more team members. This helps us get more important tasks done since the marketplace team can handle some of the workload, allowing us to work more efficiently. It's all about efficiency, and the interface and marketplace features really help with that, giving us our time back to focus on tasks with a higher ROI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

I believe the major thing that can be improved is the keyword exports. There are times we have requests and we're just doing research on a group of keywords, and we need to export them to share with other marketers. But when you do that, Conductor gives you additional keywords and other information that's not necessarily relevant. It's relevant when you're doing topical research, but not relevant when you're doing research on a group of keywords that you've already established. So it forces you to clean up the report before you can share it with extended team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One SEO, GEO & AI Content Platform with Great Customer Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

It integrates multiple features that help marketers deliver real impact. I was able to access SEO, GEO, and AI content creation in one place (very useful btw). The reporting allows you to see performance clearly, and its integration with GA4 makes the process much simpler. The support team is also very good and follows up consistently to make sure product usage is as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

The UX is maybe not that great, some things are not that obvious and although the intention on the reporting is good, the fact that you cannot set your own reporting isn't a good thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SEO and AEO Made Easy with Conductor, AI Features Need Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

I really like Conductor's AI prompts research feature and AI content writing assistant. The prompts research feature allows me to target and align the research using personas, which makes it more effective. The AI content writing assistant is great for drafting the initial level of content just by providing the topic, keywords, and personas, which saves me a lot of time. The setup of Conductor was pretty simple and not very complicated, and the assistance provided was good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

A bit of outcome from the AI writing tool. The content received can improve in language, tone, and detail. Right now, it feels like it's just rewritten using data on the internet. It's not bad, but a bit more natural can work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Content Optimization with Room for AI Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

I primarily use Conductor to support long-form content optimization and build structured keyword frameworks across our Services programs. Conductor's intelligence insights help me identify content gaps and high-value, non-branded opportunities and align them with user intent, which is valuable for our internal messaging priorities. When I started using Conductor, what fascinated me was the ability to see how our Services offerings were misrepresented on LLMs, allowing us to strengthen our content and narrative. I appreciate the ability to create page groups and workspaces, making it easier to organize content by programs and share with other stakeholders during discussions. Workspaces make it easier to tailor views and insights for different teams based on their priorities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

One area Conductor could improve is the AI Writing Assistant. It suggests irreverent or loosely related topics for high-level pieces like thought leadership. For executive audiences, it feels redundant to build around typical topics like "what is sustainability?" or "What is circular economy?" More flexibility and differentiation for advanced executive pieces would make this tool even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Content Strategy with Robust Technical Insights"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

I primarily use Conductor for keyword and topic research and to measure the technical performance of our site. It makes creating a content roadmap and ideas easier. The way it breaks down the technical limitations of our site is extremely useful. We use this information on a monthly basis for client reporting, enabling us to measure technical site improvements visually and numerically. The technical reporting aspect is what made us choose Conductor over SEMrush. Additionally, the initial setup was easy, and Chelsea Hoover, our account manager, is especially helpful and personable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

Competitor site research and keyword research could be expanded to be more visually appealing and to include how many AI citations the keywords and competitors capture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
