What do you dislike about Concept3D? In the 7 years I have been working with Concept3D directly, I have had 5 different CSMs. They have all been excellent. I just would like a little better continuity in my CSM, who is supposed to know my contract -- I have had to correct 2 different CSMs who were trying to bill for something that was covered in our contract, and one of them tried the same thing twice. I depend on the CSMs to make sure I operate within my contract, and when I am requesting a service outside my contract, that it actually be outside my contract, instead of me having to catch them on a double billing situation. Every time this has happened, they have worked to correct the issue. But it can be frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Concept3D solving and how is that benefiting you? There are so many things that the maps system from Concept3D can do. It is very flexible and we find that the maps are used very often. We were able to build self guided walking tours that utilized the map system. The other great thing that their software helped solve was door to door walking instructions between buildings. Concept3D is focused on ensuring that their customers can do as much as possible, the latest change is their tansition to dynamic labels, and then taking the feedback from that and creating dynamic labels 2.0 which allows for stacking the labels and deciding order of display. The product is consistently updated with new and improved features including the ability to add custom labels on the map, AI generated image captions and updates to navigation and more. I enjoy the integration of our events and our map with Concept3D, as it provides a single source of data truth from our GIS integration. I appreciate our continued support with feature development and the responsive support engagement, which helps us navigate our complicated environment with multiple stakeholders through the C3D development cycle. I'm overall pleased with our work together. I think the more complicated part is communicating effectively what we would like to see. Some items would take more development time e.g. cost. The initial setup was a six month engagement if I recall correctly from launch to deployment. I wouldn't call it easy in terms of the detail work and multiple stakeholders. I find Concept3D incredibly user-friendly and appreciate its ease of use. It's great for navigating our facilities and helps me find rooms quickly. I also like that it helps new hires by showing them routes and important locations. The ability to build in locations and maintain IDs is something I use quite a bit, and it's very helpful when I'm looking for areas that need maintenance as I can easily find them. Sometimes when I'm searching for a room, it does not load. I would like to be able to draw routes for new hires so that I can guide them through different buildings. What sets this platform apart is its unique features, such as wayfinding and interior plans. I haven't found any other platform that provides these specific services. For instance, the interior floor plans and the 3D base map rendering cannot be modified by university stakeholders. This dependency makes managing changes both time-consuming and expensive. What I like best about Concept3D is how easy it is to create websites that look clean and consistent while still giving each department the flexibility to make the site their own. The platform is user-friendly, and the support team has always been helpful when we've had questions. I also like that it's easy to train department users to update and maintain their own content, which makes managing websites across campus much more efficient. One thing I'd like to see improved is having a little more flexibility with customization and design options without needing extra development work. There are also times when making updates can feel a bit more time-consuming than expected. Concept3D has made it much easier for our team to build and manage websites across multiple departments while keeping everything consistent and accessible. I love how easy Concept3D is to use. You can easily flip on or deselect things you want or don't want to see. It's very intuitive with controls, directions, and options, making it a valuable tool to people around campus, both new and old. Setting it up was very easy, and it's also easy to modify and add features. Concept3D is embedded on parts of our website, and if anyone asks how to get somewhere, it's the first thing I pull up.
