What do you like best about Compliance Manager GRC?

Compliance manager can be used to track a variety of different programs that require documentation such as the CMMC. We started out with Compliance manager when it was a different product, it was a place to get started when we didn't know what we needed to be doing. What do you dislike about Compliance Manager GRC?

Compliance manager hasn't grown or changed much at all in the 4+ years we've used it. It's basically the same, and it wasn't much to begin with. Unfortunately the system lacks many features that modern compliancy tracking systems have these days. It's basically just a paperwork portal, which could be done by something that costs a lot less. It does not effectively check any work, it does not suggest improvement, and it makes you follow a sometimes incorrect chain of events to get where you're going. What do you like best about Compliance Manager GRC?

Compliance Manager makes it easy to perform security attestations for customers. You can fill out the data once per year and then use the report to submit to customers and vendors asking for security reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Compliance Manager GRC?

The data collection agent is bulky and cumbersome, especially in remote or mixed Mac/PC environments. It would be better if a single agent could be deployed to both Mac and PC systems via RMM that reported directly back to cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Compliance Manager GRC?

We didn't use Compliance Manager in our business because it lacked the features we were looking for. It is also cumbersome to set up the scans and audits. There are better solutions in the industry that are a fraction of the cost and available on month-to-month terms versus the three-year commitment Kaseya demands for Compliance Manager. What do you dislike about Compliance Manager GRC?

We were sold on Compliance Manager because we were told it would have all the policy templates needed to ensure our customers complied with the various compliance frameworks we were implementing with them. The reality is Compliance Manager is just a checklist of policies you should have and a way to store them once you create them yourself. There were very few useful templates, so you are on your own to create that content, which is the bulk of the work. We had to sign up for other services to access the needed policy templates. Kaseya owns Compliance Manager, meaning you get sucked in for a three-year term. We paid for three years of this service and never received any value from it. Kaseya offering us an Amazon gift card for our review is literally the most value we got from the solution! Don't give Kaseya more of your money. There are better solutions out there. Having read your review, you may not have been using the latest version of Compliance Manager GRC which was released in April of 2022. With respect to your feedback about the policies and procedures, Compliance Manager GRC includes templates for every widely supported standard such as HIPAA, NIST CSF, GDPR (both EU & UK), with frequent upgrades to include many more standards such as GLBA FTC Safeguard Rule, CIS IG1-3, NY DFS, NIST 800-171, PCI and several others, all deployed at no additional cost to existing partners.

"Makes Managing our HIPAA Security Painless"

What do you like best about Compliance Manager GRC?

We used to struggle with audits every month for HIPAA; it was a chore to maintain our documentation in a format that was easy to access and utilize.

What do you dislike about Compliance Manager GRC?

HIPAA compliance can be a chore to manage. However, I don't personally hold that against Compliance Manager; ultimately, it is best for our patients.

It can be difficult to onboard new employees and manually walk them through using the software. A video training module on HIPAA practices and the software itself would be ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We're required to maintain HIPAA compliance because of our work in healthcare.
