Compass is a great system for guiding you through the LEAN process. I find the DMAIC tools to be extremely helpful during quality improvement projects. I particularly love the tools contained in each phase of the DMAIC components, online trainings, centralized reporting and the process mapping is such a valuable feature. No actual issues with the system to report. Response is based on two factors. First, our quality team are absolute rookies in using the COMPASS system thus learning curve of the basic DMAIC tools and navigation is new, exciting and commensurate with experience levels. Second, when compared to the antiquated and documentation management system, COMPASS is light years ahead of spreadsheet repositories our department used in the past.
