Comp AI was able to simply these overcomplicated frameworks into only a simple handful of tasks. What problems is Comp AI solving and how is that benefiting you? We have a requirements to get compliant within a few weeks. In the case of SOC 2, we had to get into our observation period, otherwise we were not going to qualify for a contract we had won. Comp AI charged us about a third of the price that some of the competitors are charging. The Comp price is all inclusive of the technical assessment/remediation and the actual audit, unlike many of the competitor that offer that as 3 different services. Setting up the self-hosted version took more technical know-how than expected. while the documentation is decent, you definitely need someone comfortable with containerization and server management to get it running smoothly. Before comp ai, getting compliance certifications meant either hiring expensive consultants or spending months manually gathering evidence and creating policies. We were looking at $50,000+ just for SOC 2 preparation with traditional solutions. Comp AI automated the tedious parts like the policy generation, evidence collection, and gap analysis while giving us the flexibility to customize everything for our specific setup. The continuous monitoring means we're not scrambling before audits anymore. Most importantly, it removed the compliance bottleneck that was preventing us from pursuing enterprise customers. I'm genuinely happy that CompAI is actually solving something that's been broken for so long. The automated evidence collection and risk tracking means we're not drowning in busywork anymore. Finally, someone built a tool that makes this bearable. The real kicker is we can use this to get SOC 2 certified without going broke. Comp AI replaced our manual comp benchmarking spreadsheets with a structured, defensible system — critical as we scale. It’s especially helpful for SOC 2 readiness: we now have a centralized, auditable source for compensation decisions, which keeps us compliant and saves time during security reviews. Very simple policies that are not bloated with nonsense. Very responsive team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Comp AI? Although everything is very good with them, certain features like the trust portal could be improved to simplify SOC2 such as downloading PDF's of the compliance certificates. Comp AI is making getting SOC2 certification way easier and less painful compared to other providers. We are benefitting by getting SOC2 certified, which helps us win more enterprise deals.
