From a basic definition Firewalls help monitor your system to prevent and detect intrusions and attacks. Well Comodo does exactly this. Since I've started using it a couple of months ago it helped my computer all the time I've been attacked, so this means it's awesome at his job. It also have a good UX and it's very easy to use. There is just one think that I don't liked and it is that secure DNS are ineffective against phishing urls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is light, not like other firewall and Internet Security (I used it as part of the free Internet Security suite). It does not make start-up heavy and it does not bother you that much, it is a discrete presence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It causes problems with other software and networking. On one of my laptops it just makes the connection drops and randomly disable the wifi adapter. Not only, after uninstalling the software a whole bunch of registry keys remain active in the registry and cause even more subtle problems. I had to clean the registry manual myself to get everything back to normal. On another laptop, again after uninstalled, the software with its persistent registry keys prevented Microsoft Security Essential to open its interface, eveything back to normal after I cleaned the registry myself from all the left-over Comodo keys.
In general then the interface is not as friendly 8beside the pretty colours...) and some features are not so easy to understand where they are.
In a couple of cases it did not prevent malware oftware to pass even though then Comodo was able to stop its action. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was very easy to adapt to from windows firewall and could be used a a nice replacement. It was very easy to use and a slick interface. it has a better security potential than Microsoft's pre-installed firewall and is really good at preventing leaks from the internet. For our customers who are not very good with technology we use the software for them to be a filter to the internet very similar to Norton's 360, but it is free. I don't like how it occasionally interferes normal processes with it's behavior blocker. It is quite annoying, but it is workable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find that for a bigger network of computer users, it creates a lot of workflow interruption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
