I didnt have to do much fiddling around to set it up. It also has a really good option where you can run suspicious files in a sandbox environment. I get a lot of email attachments from clients and despite taking best precautions the threat of opening an attachment that contains malicious stuff is very real. The sandbox protection was really great for scenarios like that. If you get an attachment and you arent sure if its a legit file or malware, just open it in sandbox mode to see what it is. You can also automate this sandbox to make life a little easier. I was also pretty happy with how little it impacted the performance of my system. I didnt see any significant slowdowns even when a scan was ongoing. The interface is also really nice. I could find everything I needed to find with a few clicks. If you are an intermediate user like me, you will have no trouble navigating and using it. **What do you dislike about Comodo Antivirus?** I wish there was an option to just buy it and disable the ads. Maybe there is and I missed it but it would be nice if it was more prominent if that is the case. **Recommendations to others considering Comodo Antivirus:** I would say its worth trying it especially if you are concerned about receiving suspicious files in your email as attachments. **What problems is Comodo Antivirus solving and how is that benefiting you?** System security has improved drastically since I started using this. Comodo can scan everything, including cell phones, and remove any electronic intruders. Comodo uses an incremental scanning system that marks files and folder that have been deemed safe. You just install it and it takes care of the rest. Usually I have had to mess around with anti virus softwares to get it running just the way I want it. This was pretty much good to go with a few clicks. The UI is simple and easy to navigate. It also pretty resource efficient. I noticed no slowdown after installing it, even with resource heavy applications running (I do a lot of image editing). The updates are also frequent and good to have. Its also got a neat little anti spyware/malware built in. **What do you dislike about Comodo Antivirus?** The automatic detection did flag some legit files. But I dont really blame that on the this. Every single Anti Virus I have used has had that problem. **Recommendations to others considering Comodo Antivirus:** The free version is really quite nifty and I would definitely recommend trying it out. Granted, it might not be suited for large environments with lots of users but for a SMB or even individual personal users, it is definitely recommended. Keep in mind that the free version comes in bundled with a few things you could classify as ads but those are fairly non intrusive and dont harm the overall experience. **What problems is Comodo Antivirus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Improved security for our group PCs.
