## Como Reviews
  ### 1. Not as good as the reviews claim

**What do you like best about Como?**

The best part of Como is the extensive reporting options and multitude of different campaigns that you can run. There is a lot of flexibility in the combinations you can run in both reporting metrics and campaign setup / audiences.

**What do you dislike about Como?**

Information is never forthcoming. We only find out we can't do something after trying to do it and getting told it won't work. Most of the time we are trying to work out how to do things on our own which means a lot of lag time whilst we wait for a response from overseas. There are no resource documents such as FAQ's pre onboarding, meaning we had to ask a lot of questions to sales about platform functionality before knowing whether it would be suitable. Turns out Como has most of the features it's rivals have, just without good UI or UX.
There were no upfront conversations about additional costs (such as extra charges for expiry and tier scripts, and automated reporting) so prepare for the platform to cost more than the advertised subscription rate.
The biggest disappointment has been the lack of urgency and response for technical issues. Whilst Como do a good job of keeping the actual platform up and running (with very few outages) there have been at least half a dozen times that campaigns, rules or points haven't worked as expected and rather than this being fixed / resolved promptly, in some instance it has taken weeks for this to be fixed, despite customers being impacted and us emailing daily. This was particularly disappointing, as we did a lot of research on customer satisfaction before choosing to go with Como - a key reason why I'm writing this review, so others can go in with eyes wide open.
There is very little consideration of UX for both clients and customers. The platform feels like it was built by a data analyst (and as such the reporting options are incredible) but without any consideration on how a marketer might need to use it, or what UI might be best for a customer. Campaign setup and reporting takes longer than it should due to some processes being laboured and clunky. There are lots of things that can go wrong with reporting and campaign setup, which aren't flagged in the platform or by CSM's, meaning you need 3 - 6 months of use before you'll feel comfortable with what each reporting metric means and how to set up campaigns without any issues.

**What problems is Como solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lots of good campaign options for customers, and the ability to segment and target members easily.
We also wanted access to good reporting, which Como definitely offers once you have learned the intricacies of the setup and metric attributes.
In built white label app much cheaper and quicker than building an app of our own.
