Worst support I have ever had in my whole long career **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025 **What do you like best about Commvault Cloud?** varied product compatibiilty and support most of our infrastructure. **What do you dislike about Commvault Cloud?** We have had this product for several months and I can’t get it to work and every case I have created gets an automated message every week saying they are working on it but I have never had an actual response. Then I get frustrated and close the case and create a new different one, and the automatted feedback message gives a link to give 5 stars on everything and submits it with no input. The absolute worst and then they pad the numbers with the false 5 star reviews. We very much regret this purchase **What problems is Commvault Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Just general backup ### 2. The majority of support analysts are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful so most tickets are resolved quickly. **What do you dislike about Commvault Cloud?** CommVault is an incredibly complicated system and the company has a bad habit of deprecating features with little notice so that long time clients end up with an installation that no longer matches the "standard" configuration of a new client. The support team is responsive and friendly but you'll need them a lot. In the past year I've opened 57 support tickets - more than one every week - and there are still features that don't work properly. CommVault is not a system you will implement on your own. Initial installation and, I would suggest, any significant change will require Professional Services which comes at an additional cost. **What problems is Commvault Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We want to use CommVault for both backup and malware protection but attempts to restore files and complete virtual machines from backup regularly encounter problems which necessitate the creation of a support ticket. ### 3. Would not recommend **What problems is Commvault Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** At the time, it was significantly better than our previous backup software used. Deduplication engine was quite impressive ### 4. Backup restorations are dependable. **What do you dislike about Commvault Cloud?** The interface is overly complex and convoluted. Implementing is tedious and time consuming.
