What do you dislike about Commvault Cloud? Commvault Cloud is powerful, but it’s still complex to set up and manage. The console can feel heavy, and some tasks take time. Making the setup and interface simpler would improve the experience a lot. Setup and navigation can be easier. A cleaner interface, fewer menus, and a more guided setup wizard would save time and make the tool simpler for everyday use. The initial setup is not very easy and needs proper planning and technical knowledge. If you’re a first‑time user, you definitely need an expert for the installation. Commvault Complete Backup and Recovery can pretty much back up anything; it is like having a toolbox with lots of different tools to help with all sorts of different challenges. It is great at just doing the simple things like File server or VM backups but allows you to also solve complex backup issues with workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Commvault Cloud? It is fairly complex, so it is a steep learning curve if you want to use the more advanced features that it offers. We are backing up M365 cloud workloads such as SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Exchange Online and looking at Azure workloads at present. We moved from using on-premises backups to Commvault Cloud and the biggest benefit has been the consistency of speed compared to the throttling that MS was applying to our on-premises backups.
