The granularity and customizations. Limitless configurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Commvault Cloud? Support for one. Recently, its become very difficult to get proper support. The reporting tools are extremely difficult to use, often resulting in just a "wall of text" with no context or what anything means. The aging of backups, if you misconfigure or walk into a pre-set CV can be extremely difficult to recover space or get rid of backups that are not needed. Not very intuitive. It does work for backing up, but restoring is bad. option for the restore was changed without notification during an update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Commvault Cloud? THey said it would allow for hourly backup for M365 and it doesn't. they removed a key restore feature without notifying us. we can only restore over existing items and not restoring in a separate location. Oracle database cloning works pretty well. If everything did work I would say the interface is ok, if extremely large and complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Commvault Cloud? Where do I start? Delivered features were not as described. We ended up having to purchase additional software to achieve the email archiving functionality promised. Lots of additional proxies were required (and a Server 2012 license for each one). The industry-leading customer service was exactly the opposite. Took forever to get resolutions. Commvault representatives berated me for trying to get escalations for problems that turned out to be known issues. Tech reps unfamiliar with new features. One VM still not backed-up after one solid week of tech support and escalation. edit: After 5 months and one Service Pack patch things are running fairly smoothly. The application is still prone to unexpected failures along the path from agent to proxy to media server however the tech support is prompt and effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
