Fairly easy to use. Wide selection of template options and good variety of design tools. Drag and drop ease of use and flexible template windows. May not appeal to serious career comic creators after awhile, but saves a lot of time getting rolling if you are just starting out! Fun to use and easy to understand user interface. A great way to get your feet wet when learning to produce a comic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It gets a little jumpy with bigger image files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The design is so intuitive that if you have any experience with any design programs, the learning curve is practically zero! The very first time I fired Comic Life up, it was instant fun! Now that I've created a few cool projects with it, I'm thinking more and more in terms of, this would make a cool Comic Life image, whether it be an advertisement, a help file or training manual or even maybe a political post or two. What's not to like? Even the trial is 100% the way a trial version should be done, it's not a feature-limited version, you get the full-fledged version for 30 days and then it's a very reasonable $29.99 when you're ready to buy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With this program I found the way to give a creative image to my presentations, invitations or messages on social networks. It is easy to use, it has many templates or design options, I can download the images or photos from my PC or choose to take a screenshot. It also allows me to intervene an image or create a cartoon. Good program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I happen that when the internet is slow the program hangs up and I get an error message that refers me to online solutions or close the program. However, when I have a good signal I work fast and without any problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It’s such a creative outlet to turn real life photos into a comic book. It’s engaging and also puts an awesome twist on projects. It brings the old fashioned comic book that used to be a main source of entertainment back to life again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can’t say I dislike anything. It’s super convenient and easy to use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dropping and dragging in Comic Life 3 is easy and adaptable for the first time user. Shaping titles and word bubbles are my favorite part. Keeping aspect in ration without holding the shift-key is a plus when you're creating on the fly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were more skew and perspective options for resizing panel boxes. I would love to see an algorithm that aligns other panels on the page simultaneously. Example: If I pick a row of panels and change one panel to a right trapezoid the following panel will become a left trapezoid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Comic life is fun to use because it has a lot of templates to choose from and the interface is intuitive. When your project is complete, it can be exported as a PDF making sharing very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even though there are a lot of templates to choose from, it would be nice to have a library online where you can choose from other templates that people have designed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The templates are incredibly easy to manipulate, and to understand. Everything is vibrant and the interface itself is clean cut. Very simple to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My initial first impression was ..."this is cheesy looking". The initial templates lack stylistic guides beyond Kirby and Stan Lee, or the golden age of comics, which isn't entirely my thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This software has been absolutely a blast to use, plain and simple. I think anyone would enjoy using it, even if they only have a passing interest in comics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. I can honestly say there is nothing I dislike about this software. It's just too much fun. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
