I like that it was easy to use and create a video after uploading a power point I had used for training. It is nice to break up my trainings so that staff do not just have to listen to me speak for hours. I love the ability to upload and utilize my own pictures for the videos. I have only been using the trial version, so I am sure with the paid version there are additional scenarios, avatars and images available. I also like the idea of getting information to patrons/customers in a digital video format. I think it is so much more effective in getting information to people when they can watch a fun video instead of reading a long description or having to read a lot of information. I have tried other options out there and I found the AI suggestions for editing my script to be super helpful and it came up with a great script. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Colossyan Creator? I did have some issues with playback where the screen kept freezing while I was watching it. I also tried to use the free account to create a sample video, but I guess that I hit preview too many times and it would no longer let me preview the free video without paying for a subscription. Every time I changed or updated something I wanted to see the end result but would find more minor things to change, but apparently you can only do that so many times without it pushing you to pay for a subscription. Our team uses Collosyan on many of our projects and were most interested in the conversation elements of the avatars. We are able to use this to address our sales content much easier. It is not a complete and robust tool, and there feels like there is space to add more. I'd like the editing of the tool to also be a little more obvious to use. I think they were going for simplicity which is a good thing, but for users who seek more advanced functionality, this might be a little frustrating. Collosyan allows you to create a video relatively quickly. That said, the difference between creating a video and creating a complete video is different. The main problem we are solving is being able to create videos quickly, which do not rely on human presentors or voice over which we can update quickly if needed. We have been with Colossyan for over 12 months and during that time have continued to be delighted by their continued service and support to us as well as having the opportnity to put forward a wish list that is turning into reality. I cannot praise this sopution highly enough. The energy and dedication (as well as technical knowledge) from every person at Colossyan that we encounter enables us to always come away with the solutions that we require and often more than we have anticipated. The platform is really easy to use and there is no need for any long tutorials although their introductory bootcamp that we cpompeted before we even signed up was a completely brilliant piece of online training (and we are hard to pleae in that field as we are all trainers by trade!) We use this product in our resource design team on a dialy basis and the new features continue to expand our horizons of how we can create content in the future. The platform is super easy to learn how to use and the ability to be able to create a whole video (and not just the avatar) is really useful. I work for an international company and the tool has a feature which allows you to change the language in an instant. The feedback from my European collegues has been the surprise at how good the translated voices were. The cost of a real presenter is always too much for the eLearning content we are creating, so this now gives us a new way to be able to engage with the learner. The lip syncing is still not prefect and there are a couple of other aspects of the tool that required a little time to work out the best work around for when creating a video.
