It is one of the best cryptocurrency exchanges, backed by the FDIC, so the money is safe in case the website gets hacked (as has happened with many other exchanges). It has a very good mobile app and is a secure website (with two-factor authentication), always sending a message to your phone with a code when accessing the account. Also, access to COINBASE gives you access to GDAX where you can see all the values in real-time and exchange cryptocurrencies. Interestingly, GDAX has lower fees than COINBASE. What I like the least is that it doesn't have a wide variety of coins to exchange, for example, BINANCE has many more options. Another thing I don't like is that it has high fees for depositing money via credit card, which requires you to make bank transfers that take a long time, and the movement of money this way is not agile. I like how they have abstract most of the technical side of blockchain aside for the general public, who has limited technical knowledge and just want a smooth experience. Funding policy is pretty lenient and easy, considering the limit is pretty high in my opinion and pretty suitable for the average public. It could be too simple and basic, lacking some functionalities, and they also take a larger percentage of fees that doesn't take "maker" and "taker" policy into account. However, that is understandable considering they have GDAX (now coinbase pro) for those functionalities. In addition, the fees are on the more expensive side, and customer service is not the best.
