"USing Cognizant for offshore development"
What do you like best?
Cognizant was a very good partner to work with and very flexible with our needs and requests. In addition they had the skill sets we needed and could ramp-up quickly and successfully.
What do you dislike?
Like most Indian offshore companies, you need to vet talent in lead roles very carefully. It took us a couple of tries to get a solidi on-site team that we could work with and that could work with the team in India in an effective manner.

Ensure you get a strong on-site team that can work with your team and that can direct team offshore. Suggest visiting team in India in order to assess talent and to look who might be good candidates to bring back onsite.
