Once the connection and drivers are set, it's very easy to connect to the database and start searching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of accessing the hadoop tables and explore them is really nice. This helps in understanding how tables are laid out and creating Hive queries becomes very easy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Coginiti?

People who know SQL can easily work on Aginity as it's front end coding contains SQL as the language to interact with the Hadoop framework. Also, you can run different queries on different tabs which makes parallel processing easy.

Very reusable and scalable in terms of user friendliness. I have used the Analytics Management extensively. Aginity Amp makes sure that analytics use is consistent across your company. It catalogs both the data and the math utilized to create analytics, which makes it simpler to build trustworthy and consistent analytics.

Heard that the governance and data cleansing feauture is also amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coginiti?

The dashboard could be more appealing and simple. Sometimes, it gets stuck before of large query handling but that's only sometimes. Initially I had some installation issues too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Coginiti:

1. Be well verse with SQL before using this. As most of the syntax is really SQL based, it would be better.

2. You can run different queries on different tabs, that's the good part. But try minimising them as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Coginiti solving and how is that benefiting you?

Extracting datasets, designing queries to look into big datasets etc. Aginity makes it very simple to do all such stuff. I have used the Azure SQL Data Warehouse to combine query performance with data security. My other team members used to integrate it with other products as well as their roles were of developers. I was a tester and my main job was to find loopholes in the analytics workload demands and expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
