CoffeeCup HTML Editor is a freeware tool, which makes it easy to develop web pages using HTML/CSS. Installation of the software on a Windows PC was equally easy. Live Preview of a web page is a handy feature provided by the tool.

What do you like best about CoffeeCup HTML Editor?
Coffee Cup was one of the very first WYSIWYG editors I used and still one of my favorites. The first time I used it, it was 1998 and I was new. Within a week I had my very first website live. If you have a vision of what you want the page to look like and how you want it to react Coffee Cub will get you there with ease and zero coding experience. Professional results without hiring a pro. I'm not sure if this could be considered a drawback but I had a tendency to get lost in the menus at times. Not sure if it was me or the software at issue but there are so many sub-sub menus that it can get somewhat overwhelming at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CoffeeCup HTML Editor?
CoffeeCup HTML Editor has a toolbar with excellent editing functions. In addition, it allows uploading files via FTP. I like their search functions and keyboard shortcuts. It also has an interface that allows you to organize all the projects in a sidebar, so that it is very easy to exchange projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes I have problems with the autocomplete, because sometimes it tries to complete words abbreviated by me, however, the suggestions do not match the word I was looking for. So I must correct the word, wasting time in editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CoffeeCup HTML Editor?
CoffeeCup HTML Editor is a very useful code editor for me, because it has a good and fluid interface. It allows you to create custom shortcuts. I also like the syntax and grammar of this tool. I think the search patterns are very poor because they only contain the matching words on the lines. Also, it is disappointing that it is only available for Windows, since I almost always program in Linux, which makes me doubt whether to use it or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CoffeeCup HTML Editor?
This editor has particular features like keyboard shortcuts to autocomplete code snippets. I also like that you have a tool to clean the code and thus eliminate variables that are not used. Sometimes the interface may have problems loading projects, as it stops for a few seconds and Windows indicates that it "program does not respond", but you just have to be patient, because if it closes you will lose everything you have advanced in the project. My recommendation for this editor is that if you necessarily need all of its features in full, you must purchase the paid version, which is not expensive. "CoffeeCup HTML Editor - Tried the rest, and still the best"

What do you like best about CoffeeCup HTML Editor?
CoffeeCup's HTML Editor has been around for over 20 years. I started using it in the late 1990's (back in the dotcom 1.0 days). What I love about the latest version is that it works with all of the most up-to-date protocols and coding tools. The code validation feature is great when coding complex pages, and greatly reduces common errors which would drive me crazy if I was using a text editor.
The components and other organization features allow for changes to be applied to multiple pages while keeping a complex website well organized. This makes updating & troubleshooting much easier.
The $29 price for the full version is an incredible bargain for the calibre of this application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
