Other multichannel selling tools require you to export and migrate your entire product catalog to their platform, but with Codisto powering your eBay and Amazon integration you can connect to any of over 40 global Amazon & eBay marketplaces directly from existing ecommerce platform giving you complete control of your Amazon & eBay listings where you want it. ## Codisto Reviews ### 1. Unreliable **Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Adam W. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022 **What do you like best about Codisto?** Easy to control eBay and Amazon listings. Editing details (e.g re-writing titles) on out-of-stock/unlisted eBay items is a great feature as this isn't possible on many other competitor's services. Bulk edit functionality is useful for changing shipping services etc in bulk. **What do you dislike about Codisto?** We have daily issues with stock levels not updating quickly enough. If a product sells on our website then the stock levels on eBay/Amazon need updating immediately. The sales team pitch it as "virtually instant". After months of problems the support team say that they consider 1-2 days for stock levels to sync to be acceptable. It isn't acceptable, it's the difference between a smooth multi-channel operation and chaos with over-sells, upset customers and a lot of customer service work. Support don't seem to be particularly interested, there's no escalation of serious issues. The other major flaw is that pricing cannot be set sufficiently independently from the prices you have in your Shopify store. Whilst you can add a fixed price/percent surcharge to all items going to eBay/Amazon this is not suitable if you are selling an item at full price on Shopify - you will end up selling for higher than RRP/MAP on Amazon/eBay. There needs to be price control at a SKU level. Support is mixed - if it's a simple issue then it is fine. If you have system problems there's little pro-active help. **Recommendations to others considering Codisto:** Get confirmation of their sync times/abilities. Get a SLA agreement for support. **What problems is Codisto solving and how is that benefiting you?** Listing products to eBay & Amazon from our central Shopify catalogue. In the UK, Shopify doesn't have the same level of native Amazon integration so a third-party provider is required. ### 2. I had this app for about a week and they charged me not only once but twice for monthly service PLUS over $300 in additional charges! When I contacted them the said they were "entitled" to over $400 because of my sales. The sales I made had nothing to do with this app plus I never even set it up! The just stole over $400 in a week! BEWARE! **Recommendations to others considering Codisto:** DO NOT USE!
