"Efficient and User-Friendly Tool for Coding Assessments and DSA"
What do you like best about Codility?

What I like most about Codility is how easy it is to use. The coding challenges are clear, and the problem statements are super easy to understand. It helps me quickly assess candidates’ skills, and the detailed reports with code playback make it simple to see how they solved each problem.

Integration with other tools is smooth, and the wide range of features allows for flexible coding challenges tailored to different roles. I use it frequently in our hiring process because it streamlines candidate evaluations. However, I wish the test case details and inputs used in assessments were more visible during the review process. The customer support has also been responsive whenever I’ve had questions or needed help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

During assessments, it doesn't show the actual inputs or test case details that were run. Instead, it just gives logs like 'ran first input' and 'successful,' which makes it harder to understand how the code was tested or where candidates might have gone wrong. "Very easy to understand and use IDE for coding in different languages."
What do you like best about Codility?

The IDE is very visually pleasing, especially the dark mode. All required functions that you normally expect from and IDE are present, easy to find, and work as espected. There is no noticeable lag anywhere. The questions are very clear and require insight to produce the best results. IntelliSense works great without any lag. The code compiles and runs super fast. The results are also presented neatly and very clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

The only downside I found was not knowing if writing a program that sacrifices memory for speed would run within the memory limits of the test, having an idea of the ram available would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Codility offers a diverse set of coding challenges and technical questions"
What do you like best about Codility?

As a Technical Architect at Infinite Computer Soln , I’ve been using Cordiality for 80 minutes to assess technical skills during our recruitment process. Here’s my perspective:Codility offers a diverse set of coding challenges and technical questions that are well-suited for evaluating a wide range of programming skills. The platform is user-friendly, with an intuitive interface that makes it easy to set up and administer assessments. The ability to create custom tests tailored to specific job roles is particularly valuable.Overall, Codility performs reliably with minimal downtime. The automated grading system provides accurate assessments of candidates' coding abilities, although occasional issues with complex queries have been noted.Codility’s support team is responsive and helpful, although response times can sometimes be longer than expected. The available documentation and resources are comprehensive but could benefit from more frequent updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

Occasionally slow response from customer support.

Some complex test scenarios can be problematic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid tool for conducting coding interviews"
What do you like best about Codility?

Overall, I see codility as a solid tool for conducting interviews here at Whoop. I've have to say it's reliable, and I have never had an issue with it's performance or anything of that nature, which I value the most.

I am an iOS Devleoper by trade, and use the tool for mobile interviews. While I see there is now compilation features last I checked, we don't prefer to use them. Having compiler checks takes time away from the interview itself, and the signals I am looking for.

Maybe a simple feature, but I do like that an interview can have sets of interviews on the left tab. Which is great as we do an Android and iOS themed version of the interview problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

Maybe due to its pricing models only our interviewers have access to codility. And then they send us the info the day of to conduct the interview. I wish that more folks could have access. When we were revamping our interview questions we had to have the recruiting team setup our problem in codility.

I also do interviews for contractors at our company, which recruiting doesn't conduct. So when I need an interview setup for the day I have to reach out to recruiting, which seems a little silly that I cannot also just press a button to start an interview. The pricing model likely incentivises fewer seats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hassle free interviewing candidates with Codility"
What do you like best about Codility?

I use to use Google Docs or Notepad for interviewing candidates, but with Codility it so easily to share code and even the candidates can write and compile the code in different languages which will help us the interviewers the time in analyzing their code manually. Such a relief with Codility!

Many a times there were cases where Teams or Zoom screen sharing was not working, in such cases Codility was a savior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

It would be great if Codility can provide some questions and test cases as well like Leetcode to test candidates coding skillset whether the code they wrote passes all test cases and covers all the cases or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use, basic IDE, nice layout"
What do you like best about Codility?

Codility has a nice layout with easy to view instructions, files, coding area and time remaining. It also has some nice warnings about time remaining. The layout is not over-the-top, but still modern. Running your code just works and the output is somewhat easy to read (pretty much like running pytest?). Things like basic autocomplete and auto-indentation makes it easier to write code. It also has a quick tutorial of the layout, which does not count on the test time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

Not needed at all, but I'd like to see some linting on it. Linters are very good for software development. It would be good to notice errors without having to run, see exception, run again... another not needed, but nice-to-have would be debugging with anything more modern than printing a variable value to the output. "Assesment experience"
What do you like best about Codility?

Codility is a really good platform for assessments. I have personally gone through many assessments on it; the platform is really smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

In a few of my exams live camera was on, but there was no window to show the live cam; it would be better if we could see that as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"High Quality Programming Experience"
What do you like best about Codility?

The platform provides immediate feedback on submitted solutions through automated testing and evaluation. This instant grading helps users understand their mistakes and learn efficiently by iterating on their solutions quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

Setting up customized tests might be a bit daunting for those not familiar with the platform, and a more guided setup process could be beneficial. It is also missing what a lot of IDE's have, coding copilots. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
