## About Codility
Codility is a technical assessment and AI skills assessment platform built on documented assessment science. It helps engineering, talent, and business teams assess technical and AI skills for hiring and map verified capability across existing workforces. Every assessment is designed by occupational psychologists, mapped to the Codility Engineering Skills Model, and monitored for adverse impact at every measured cut score. Organizations use Codility to evaluate who can build software and who can deliver real work with AI in the loop. The platform covers four workflows: technical skills screening for candidates, structured live technical interviews, AI skills assessment for business and non-technical roles, and verified skills mapping across internal teams. For pre-employment screening, Codility provides a task library of 1,300+ tasks covering real-world work simulations, algorithmic challenges, SQL, and project-based work across 80+ languages and frameworks including Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Go, Rust, Kotlin, React, Angular, Vue.js, Spring Boot, Django, Terraform, Kubernetes, Spark, and TensorFlow. Scoring is automated on supported task types, with candidate comparison, configurable time limits, and role-specific weighting. Tasks are designed by occupational psychologists and follow documented methodology with auditable scoring. For live technical interviews, the platform provides a shared VS Code environment with terminal access, sidecar services for databases, caching, and message queues, a collaborative whiteboard, rubric scoring, and full session transcript and recording. Engineering teams evaluate candidates in a real development environment. Talent teams get a repeatable process with rubric scores and session playback after every interview. Codility's advanced AI capabilities cover both sides of AI-era assessment: assessing how people work with AI, and using AI to run the assessment program. AI-native tasks put an AI assistant in the work itself. Build AI tasks ask candidates to build an AI or machine learning system such as a retrieval pipeline or an anomaly detector. Work with AI tasks embed an AI assistant that makes mistakes, some deliberately seeded, so the candidate has to catch what it gets wrong, verify the rest, and ship a result they would stand behind. That surfaces judgment about AI output rather than raw code volume. An AI Copilot is available inside the VS Code environment. AI Follow-Up Questions check whether a candidate understands the code they submitted, and are deliberately not scored to avoid introducing bias. AI-assisted task creation over the Model Context Protocol helps teams generate role-specific tasks from their own requirements. Organizations choose how AI is handled in each assessment. The in-assessment AI Assistant is enabled or disabled per assessment, and every candidate interaction is captured as reviewable AI activity. With the assistant enabled, teams evaluate how candidates prompt, review, and debug with AI. With it disabled, teams assess core technical skills without AI assistance. Both settings use the same controls and produce a reviewable record. Model-level and more granular AI controls are on the roadmap. AI for Business extends the same methodology to roles beyond engineering. It assesses AI skills through real work simulations in a simplified writing environment, no code involved: a person works alongside the AI Assistant to produce a real deliverable such as a verified report, a prioritization call, or an account brief. The deliverable is scored deterministically against an answer space defined by experts, so no AI grades AI, and every prompt and response is captured as a reviewable record. Tasks run from 20 to 60 minutes and cover marketing, sales, finance, operations, customer support, and product management roles, plus general tasks any employee in any function can take for an organization-wide AI skills baseline. AI for Business runs on Screen and Skills Intelligence, on the same plans and credit model as technical screening, with no separate product to buy. Integrity controls are layered to support defensible hiring decisions. These include identity verification, behavioral signals, integrity risk scoring, similarity detection, solution paste volume measurement, browser absence and tab switching signals, and code evolution playback. Typing pattern detection, which flags line-by-line retyping from a second screen, and cheating apps detection, which surfaces helper applications that hide from screen capture, are available in Preview. Integrity risk scoring is deterministic rather than a generative guess, and reviewers see which signals contributed. Signals are routed to a human reviewer and never auto-reject a candidate. When AI is enabled, reviewable AI activity helps teams distinguish a candidate's own work from AI-assisted output. Skills Intelligence provides verified technical skills visibility for existing engineering teams. Organizations use it to identify capability gaps, benchmark skills across teams, support internal mobility, and plan workforce deployment on assessed data rather than self-reporting. It runs on the Codility Engineering Skills Model, which covers 30 skills and 180 subskills across five categories and maps to SWEBOK v4, SFIA v9, O\*NET, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and ISO/IEC 42001, validated by engineering leaders. Hiring assessment, AI skills assessment, and internal skills verification share one assessment science foundation across the full talent lifecycle. Codility Advisory supports taxonomy mapping, rollout design, and pass-score governance for large deployments. Codility is SOC 2 Type II audited, ISO 27001 certified, GDPR and CCPA compliant, WCAG 2.2 AA accessible, and aligned with EU AI Act requirements for high-risk AI classification. Assessments follow documented methodology structured to APA Standards, with a 76-page Technical Manual, adverse impact data at every cut score, the EEOC four-fifths threshold met at every measured cut score, an independent cApStAn linguistic audit for non-native English fairness, and an explicit posture: no AI or machine learning is used in automated hiring decisions. Data is hosted in either EU or US regions. Codility integrates with more than 20 applicant tracking and scheduling systems including Greenhouse, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, iCIMS, SmartRecruiters, Lever, Eightfold, and Ashby, with results flowing back into the ATS, plus 80+ HRIS integrations for Skills Intelligence. It supports SSO via SAML 2.0 and offers API access for custom workflows. Founded in 2009, Codility is used by engineering, talent, and business teams at Barclays, BMW, Deutsche Bank, GitHub, Samsung, SpaceX, and other organizations assessing technical and AI skills across hiring and existing workforces.

**What do you like best about Codility?**

What I like best about Codility is its real-world coding challenges that really test practical problem-solving skills. The automated grading system is super helpful for giving quick feedback, and it feels like a fair way to evaluate performance. I also appreciate how efficient the platform makes the screening process, speeding things up for both candidates and employers. Plus, the range of programming languages it supports adds flexibility, which is a big bonus.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

One thing I dislike about Codility is that some of the test cases can feel a bit limited or overly focused on edge cases, which might not fully reflect real-world scenarios. Also, the time pressure can sometimes make it feel more like a race against the clock rather than a true test of problem-solving ability. Lastly, the lack of detailed feedback after completing the coding tasks can make it harder to learn from mistakes or see areas for improvement.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Codility solves the problem of efficiently assessing coding skills in a real-world context. It helps companies evaluate candidates based on their ability to solve practical coding challenges, rather than relying solely on resumes or theoretical knowledge.

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

I really feel as if the ui and the help function explains everything clearly. It is very easy to type code and run your code. I was wondering if my answers will be saved if my time runs out and that was answered in the help function which was unbelievably helpful.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

The most dislikable quality for me might be the customer support. Nothing to do with the actual service but it falls under the issue of user thinking that it would take too long to get a reply. If that won't be the case, maybe a larger icon or more description of its features would be helpful. Such as "chat to a agent" when hovering over the icon.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

proving myself for an internship with a assesment made by employers

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

Codility is a training platform who has many features which are essential for developers at any company, specially to improve development code and product quality. I would like to summarize the main points that Codility currently offers:

1. IDE Platform: Codility offers an online web IDE with a simple environment to code online in real time and to get instant results of the execution of the code written in many programming languages.
2. Coding improvement with challenges: This is the main feature of the platform, providing many different examples, use cases, different project development challenges and high performance development challenges and algorithms (which are required in many companies as a must for joining them). The training and algorithms are very well explained and classified by difficulty, offering many options to improve from lower difficulty to a greater difficulty.
3.Testing: After the execution of the code challenge or exercise, we have the possibility to setup some tests with synthetic data in order to check if the results are the ones expected for the challenge. It is very useful both for companies and for the developer, in order to test for all possible unit test cases, egde cases and high performance tests.
4. Results: After submitting the final coding for the challenge, we are shown a result screen with the execution of all the tests and the possible tests that we were not covering. The platform also shows the execution time of all the tests and how good or bad we did in terms of performance with Big O notation.
5. Additional Platform Training and Options: The platform also provides the possibility to run DEMO excercises, documentation attached to each exercise in order to improve our traning and the possibility to do an exam of professional company coding excercises with a time limit.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Companies can create customized tests with specific problems that align with their needs and evaluation criteria. This allows for a more accurate assessment of the skills that are truly relevant to the job in question.

 ### 21. Codility provides a streamlined platform for evaluating coding though its UI can feel a bit outdated

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

Codility offers a wide range of coding problems and automated gradin, making it efficient for assessing candidates' coding abilities at scale. It's especially helpful for quickly filtering candidates based on technical proficiency, with features like real-time code execution and support for multiple progreamming languages. The detailed reports and insights into candidates' performance add significant value for making informed hiring decisions. It is easily navi. The support team did a great job.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

the platform's user interface can be somwhat clunky, making navigation less intuitive. Additionally, the focus on algorithmic challenges may not fully represent a candidate's practical coding skills or ability to work within a team. This could lead to a limited view of a candidate's overall potential. I have used the product frequently and it is easy integtration with our platform. The implementation is also easy.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Codility helps in getting the basics of logical thinking assessd. Which I think is important regardless of the programming language of choice.

 ### 22. A technically competent and challenging experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay . | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

The layout of the testing suite is very elegeant and allows for easy access to all of the necessary information whilst being able to work on solutions all in one go. Other pros such as:
- A separate file allowing you to place custom test cases for questions
- Ability to easily switch between any programming language
- Supports regular IDE keybinds & functionalities such as multi-select + multi-cursor

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

Lacked the ability to toggle between spaces or tabs for indentation; I was forced to spaces when I prefer tabs so I had to copy my solution out to VSCode and quickly convert it.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only issue I ran into was being forced to use spaces for indentation in Python. Normally, I wouldn't mind if I was using any other langauge for the challenge but in this scenario, Python was my best choice for the question being asked and it is notorious for enforcing the same indentation type throughout the file. I wrote half of my solution outside of Codility in VScode (just for the sake of quickly compiling and better error print outs) but this meant that my VSCode tabs indentation when placed back into Codility meant that I couldn't correctly compile or convert back to spaces.

- Fonts were very well done. Easy to read the description.
- Online IDE felt familiar to VSCode, nice to work in online
- Ease of switching languages, no code is lost!

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

- Lack of output (too long) for R
- Lot's of cut off output, makes debugging much easier
- At some point, the browser was lagging because Codility was tracking mouse movements

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Codility allows the interviewer to set up real life problems with familiar theming. This allows both the interviewer and interviewee to view it as a 'pair programming IDE' where the interviewer can discuss stuff with the interviewee
- A huge problem I've seen on other online interviewing platforms is unappealing theming. Question descriptions are images instead of text, making zooming in super hard on other platforms. Codility makes descriptions clear with the contrasting fonts.

 ### 24. Codility is a very straight forward platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Goodness I. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

I found it easy to use even being my first time, I first tried the demo challenge, then took the actual test. It was all straightforward and seamless.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

Have demos that actually simulate the test from the company one is interviewing for, probably your team ask clients to post demo tests that actually simulate what their test is like.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Codility is helping companies access the technical skills of candidate applying for jobs in their company and the platform make it quite to show my skills as an engineer when applying for a job.

 ### 25. Good Platform to Start

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mradul M. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

The best thing I like about codility is that it makes it easier to understand the problem and it has a good interface.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

There's one thing I would like that codility to add excel.. it would be great if codily have an excel tab in which the person can do the do the math and if more needed then they can add some power bi or any visualize tool that can assess more.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can assess the person who is giving the assessment prior to the interview process in many companies there are assessments that to be done before having an interview and codility can easily solve that problem and it can be done remotely or on the campus of the company that's the big thing I like about codility.

 ### 26. Great platform to test your coding skills for the interview

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashitosh D. | Sr. Big Data Engineer , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

It provides support for multiple languages for coding. Easy to use. easy to switch between language. User friednly environment. ease of implementation is goog. well integrated.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

You can make the output window floating or movable rather thatn keeping it at a static position.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provide a platform to test the candidates coding skills . Candidate do not require to have all the installation made on his local system and it saves candidates work automatically incase of any kind of failuer.

 ### 27. I enjoyed coding on this platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** M.V.S.N P. | N/A, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

I find its focus on problem-solving and algorithmic thinking particularly valuable. It provides a range of coding challenges that help users enhance their skills and prepare for technical interviews. Additionally, Codility’s automated evaluation system gives instant feedback, which is crucial for learning and improvement. The platform’s ability to simulate real coding interviews with time constraints and coding environments makes it a useful tool for both developers and companies looking to assess technical skills

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

Some users may find the interface and user experience less intuitive compared to other platforms, which can make it challenging for newcomers to navigate effectively.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Skills Assessment and feedback

 ### 28. Great experience and relevent tests

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean-Claude C. | FullStack Developper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

Tests are relevents and it's really about using your skills, not just knowing academic knowledge.
You can write your code in your own IDE and past it afterward to run it.
Consultation of documentation (which is a major part of a developper's job) is allowed and encouraged.
Simple explanation of the IDE before starting a test.
Easy to use and to run your code against each test cases.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

Not much downsides.
It might be nice to have the option of adding custom test cases.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me test my developping skills, and show my recruiter that I'm qualified for the job.
It also showed me detailed results so I can know how I was evaluated, and how well I've performed on the tasks.

 ### 29. Reviewing Codility as an online assessment and problem solving platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya P. | Software Development Engineer 2, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

The layout provided by the Codility along with the tour given was great. Demo test gave fair idea of the actual test and the result at the end was detailed.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

When I completed the test, my test got automatically submitted. It would be bad user experience in case I had submitted brute force and wanted to come back to a problem for optimisation.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Codility provides a platform to the Tech companies to conduct online assessment tests for their candidates in order to assess them upon Data Structures and Algorithms and problem solving skills. Codility provides a super intuitive UI with a tour guide at the start of the test, which seems to be missing in many such platforms.
The benefit that we as a candidate get is that, if the platform has good UI and problems, we would be focusing on doing the problem instead of going through the hassle of finding components like Custom test, Submit button, Run tests, etc., and would have decent problems to assess our skills against. A good editor having functionalities like autocomplete and with plenty of options to choose our programming language is a big plus which benefits a lot.

 ### 30. Good platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel M. | Senior Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

The IDE was easy to use, the question was well written and clear. It was easy to see the results of tests. The number of supported languages was good and I got to pick my preferred language.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

In my experience the problem I took was very simple. I would like to see a more difficult problem but that's not a criticism of the platform, just the problem I tried.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Practicing for an interview

 ### 31. What a breeze!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Milind T. | Coach and Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

The minimalistic and helpful user interface makes taking coding tests a very pleasant experience.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

You could add direct links to online documentation about functions to make the job easier for the test taker

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides an easy way for companies to screen thousands of candidates. For me, it probably made the process faster than it would have been if in person coding tests would be necessary.

 ### 32. Smooth experience from start to finish, nothing unexpected

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

I enjoyed the fact that it was a familiar environment when I actually get on with the coding. The UI and UX were simple and user-friendly. Usual operations such as formatting, syntax highlighting and running code were intuitive and easy. Last but not least, user onboarding was good and helpful. I did not need extra support to use the platform without any hassle.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

As per my experience automatic imports functionality was not there. I don't know if it was a feature but if it was there the overall experience would be much better.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Writing this with my limited experience with Codility.
The platform is solving the hardship of having a predictable and functioning set up for both interviewers and interviewees.
That is the number one benefit in my view, which makes Codility a genuinely good product.

 ### 33. Codility review - The all in one best online IDE

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

The best feature is that despite it being online, its very fast. Be it code compilation, testing the output. And, also seamless multiple test inputs. Its extremely easy to use

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

Sometimes i have seen vague errors related to encoding, that throws me off for a few seconds while writing the solution. Although the code does runs fine in the end. Its just sometimes errors are quite distracting and takes away precious time

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides ease of use for interview purposes where I do not have to visit the interview site in person. It helps saving lots of time, both to interviewer and interviewee.

 ### 34. The best Online Code executor

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vamsi K. | Senior Software Developer II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

The ease of use and the code execution time is definetly the best.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

The result when we run the code goes beyond the screen which makes some what uncomfortable but still its not a huge problem when compared with the usability provided.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Codability solves an issue while taking the interviews which make easy to open and excute the code in one screen instead of asking the interviewee to open a note pad and not compiling the code.

 ### 35. Smooth UI and very clear questions.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manmohan K. | Software Development Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

You have options to choose from multiple languages. The feature to use your own test cases was something I used to test run my code and it was also easy to use. The problem questions were clear and concise which allowed for putting more time on the implementation.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

Frankly, there's nothing much I disliked. If it's possible to allow for multiple colorschemes and vim keybindings inside the test environment, that would definitely be a huge plus. The questions could also have some more real-life similarities, but it was still good.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me take online exams for different companies that I am interviewing.

 ### 36. A balanced platform for assesments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hanu T. | Specialist Programmer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

Codility was very smooth while brwosing and running your code. It gives you a nice description of the problems as well as it provides you with some examples. It has a very clean and simple interface. It doesn't feel cluttered or difficult to locate different tabs for settings. It gives you beautiful tour of the platform before it runs the test.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

I wish autocomplete feature could be added to Go in the editor. I see it is present for python and JS. Also after submitting if it could show the number of hidden test cases that your solution passed that would also be a good addition.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Codility takes away the pain of choosing problems and assessing the solution. It is all automated and makes the job much easier.

 ### 37. Best Platform to test skills of user

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rushikesh S. | Devops, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

I was giving bash scripting test on this and the UI was very friendly also IDE works well.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

I did not have any problem so I can't say about dislike but the tour page was to long so I skipped that.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have given a test and by using this tool the organization can actually hire a skilled employee.

 ### 38. Great experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna S. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

The convenient environment and that I can easily uderstant the input and output and where are the tests and how to write them

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

That when I enter my test cases it doesn't compare it to a correct solution so I can only see my output.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An easy estimation of my sklls for me and the intervuewer. I benefit from the convenient test environment.

 ### 39. Codility, a must try IDE

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nandini G. | Intern Trainee, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

Codility is an excellent online IDE for coding assessments and technical interviews. It offers a user-friendly interface, supports multiple programming languages, and provides a wide range of coding challenges that cater to different skill levels.

The platform’s real-time feedback, and helpful code suggestions significantly aid in improving coding skills.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

One area for improvement is the addition of more AI-driven options and features to enhance the user experience further.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Codility effectively addresses key challenges in technical interviews by providing pre-suggestions. This benefits both employers and candidates by offering real-world coding challenges, feedback right after the assessment, and code suggestions.
Employers can make better hiring decisions based on actual skills, while candidates enjoy a positive, supportive experience that helps them improve their coding abilities. Additionally, the platform's efficiency saves time and resources, and supports wide varities of languages as well.

 ### 40. It was what I expected, so it was fine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camilo R. | Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

The tutorial is helpful and the platform looks like a typical code problem solving website, so its easy to familiarize wirh the tools. The questions section was also nice ana straightforward

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

It was not clear what the "submit" button do, I initially thought it was for submitting everything but it was to submit each task individually, which I did not expect. Moreover, the code section looks like a VScode/Sublime editor, but the autoconpletion never seemed to work correctly, even on stdlib stuff

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main thing is that I do not have to set up a whole environment myself to test and solve an assigned problem. Which is really helpful considering that some tools are cumbersome or outright inconvenient to install on personal computers

 ### 41. The experience was very user-friendly, the coding environment is simple and easy to use.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

Well arranged for the user, Codility platform is simply designed to the neccery points, and not adding other adddons on top of the platform that might distract you from the task. I loved that the Clock gave notice when time was running out (10 Minutes left).
Overall very easy to write down the solution and to submit it, without needing to learn the platform first.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

The question itself, which is the most crucial part of the exam, was not arranged in comfortable way to read as the intro was too much in general, and the subtasks were'nt listed, but rather all out.
The question itself, could have been good to value a candidate if only the text was "to the point" to tell you what they expect you to answer back (as they give in coding tasks)

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Technical tasks in general subjects of QA testing.

 ### 42. Codilty Review - Best Online IDE

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** anshika T. | Unemployed, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

Codility is a very easy to use online IDE. It supports multiple programming languages. I found the UI very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

Design could be improved. All else looks fine.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On Codility, companies can create custom coding tests to evaluate candidates' programming abilities, problem-solving skills, and algorithmic knowledge. Candidates can then take these tests online, and the platform automatically evaluates their solutions based on predefined criteria set by the company. It's a popular tool for conducting technical interviews and screening candidates efficiently

 ### 43. Amazing problem statements and description

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manjula P. | Technical Documentation Specialist at Siemens Technology India, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

The way the problems are described are complex and that is what I like about codility. It helps me understand the problem first and arrive at an algorithm that I need to use. Customer support is good either.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

Sometimes the description is too long and that is time consuming. Even thought it is helpful, but can be time consuming, a little optimization is required.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The envrionment problems we will face setting up before solving coding questions are not a hassle with codility. The environment is ready and is and in different programming languages, hence it will be easir to just focus on the problem and start right away.

 ### 44. good

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vedansh C. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

This kind of prompt and accurate assistance significantly enhances learning and problem-solving efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

There should not be "submit task " option on every page . it should dave automatically and should submit once at the end.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Codility and I both serve to assist in areas involving programming and problem-solving, but in different ways. Codility is used primarily for assessing coding skills, whereas I can help explain programming concepts, provide coding examples, assist with debugging, and offer guidance on problem-solving strategies. While Codility is focused on testing, I am here to assist and support learning and development in a broader context.

 ### 45. It was a good experience overall

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karthikeyan N. | Head Demonstrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

It has very good user experience and also good documentation of languages

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

its test cases , if the test cases are shown before and if there is a feature to add our own test cases like in leet code it will be more good o use codility

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

During tech screeing , some platforms won't let us use our own IDE and copy , paste the code but it is one good feature that is available in this platform

 ### 46. Excellent platform with great examples. Free to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya G. | Senior Developer Consultant , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

Has basic code completion.
It throws error messages and has syntax highlighting.
Allows one to create unit tests.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

It does not generate code snippets, this is essential when writing loops or decision logic (and saves time).
You do use extra time for selecting your language of choice.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps identify gaps in one's knowledge and provides instructional guides on how to solve problems more computationally efficiently.

 ### 47. Concise and to the point

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chirag M. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

Simplicity of the platform, highly focusing on the user experience

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

The submit button was unclear weather it would be for the whole test or the individual questions. The positon of the button made it unclear.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used the codility for the Online assesment of the company

 ### 48. review Codility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cesar Guillermo O. | Fullstack developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

very stable, the tutorial is clear to show the IDE features

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

description was too long for me, it's good to have freedom to implement the solution, but since there is a time limit, maybe a more specific requirements would be great

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

improve programming skills

 ### 49. Great platform for conducting technical tests for IT job applications.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angel Steban A. | Software developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Codility?**

One of the best features of Codility is the ease of developing tests set by a company you're applying to. You don't have to deal with cumbersome configurations or anything outside the test's objectives; it's already a stable environment for showcasing programming skills.

**What do you dislike about Codility?**

Perhaps one of the few areas for improvement would be to have better autocomplete systems to make it more efficient for users to develop their tests.

**What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Codility solves the challenge of assessing technical skills efficiently in programming and software development. This benefits me by streamlining the hiring process, ensuring more objective evaluations of candidates and quicker identification of top talent, ultimately leading to stronger technical teams and better project outcomes.
