The selection of programming languages to practice with. The ability to determine your own 'test case' should you wanted to create your own experiment when either practising/taking the real test. The UI seems friendly to use for all users. If I remember correctly, I think you can *switch the background from lighter to darker (*This is nice. I prefer a darker background to improve the readability of the code that I have written!) **What do you dislike about Codility Developer Training?** There is a lack of dedicated SQL refreshers lesson. Sometimes the reading materials do not effectively explain the fundamentals of the programming tasks of the lessons. **What problems is Codility Developer Training solving and how is that benefiting you?** I tried to do the SQL part of the lessons (lesson 99). The SQL question asked about in the lessons gave me some clues about the kind of SQL-based question in a technical interview. Still, I appreciate the effort made in providing this lesson. While software engineers should be able to handle working on things independently, you will more often than not work with a team in some capacity in industry, That said, Codility could use a platform for hosting discussions for each programming problem presented. **Recommendations to others considering Codility Developer Training:** I would use Codility to measure the effectiveness of programmers who claim to already have experience. The detailed results and statistics Codility presents after submitting a solution are also great, and such feedback helps you improve faster. **What do you dislike about Codility Developer Training?** I would like it if the types of tasks were more diverse. It seems for most tasks, the focus is on the algorithmic aspect of the problem, i.e. finding and applying an efficient and correct algorithm. Perhaps tasks could be designed that aren't so much about finding a good algorithm but more about testing one's OOP skills or some other skill important in programming. For example, design a task that requires one to implement a callback mechanism; This can be realized multiple ways (function pointers, polymorphism, etc.).
