We had a very old linux machine working as mail server. When we got the license for Exchange the main problem was to find a tool to migrate the mailboxes. We searched and tried several solution we found on Internet to migrate Maildir to Exchange. None of them worked flawlessly but we faced always some problem. Then we discovered the tool from CodeTwo. Geez, installed on a domain computer, configured the "old" email server settings, adding exchange server settings and... boom! Mailboxes migrated without a issue. You can find a lot of solution for a task like this, but only few really work. CodeTwo Exchange Migration is the way to go! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about CodeTwo Exchange Migration? There's nothing we dislike. Software is very easy to setup, consigure and run. User interface is clean and you can find everything easily. Maybe it was due to our old linux machine that some other software solution failed to work, or maybe succeded to import the mailboxes but messing up all the folders, but when we launched the migration process with CodeTwo Exchange Migration we didn't face any issue. Very easy installation with assistance of wizards for required settings and access rights. Smooth cross domain migration from old to new exchange server, without the need to migrate all data at a time. So you can start the migration with older files and do the rest with a final job run. So CodeTwo guys … continue like that. Maybe the possibility of creating users on the target system with Group Memberships they had in the old domain. What problems is CodeTwo Exchange Migration solving and how is that benefiting you? Migration old Exchange Servers like 2007, 2010 or from SBS 2011. We also don´t want to keep he SBS Domain, since SBS was "special" and nobody knows what is in AD that causes later problems. So we create a new Domain and do a cross domain migration from Exchange 2007 or 2010 to Exchange 2016 oder 2019 which works fine with CodeTwo Exchange Migration tool. "CodeTwo is a best of breed choice in terms of applying Exchange transport rules" 5/5 What do you like best about CodeTwo Exchange Migration? We are using CodeTwo for different reasons: I really like the way we can migrate data between Exchange Servers that are not part of the same forest and additionally that don't have a special trust. Above all we can migrate those old Exchange 2007 Servers directly to Exchange 2016. This tool makes migrations very easy to us. We also use CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro for central management of signatures and Transport rules. Both tasks are easily completed with Code Two Rules Pro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. In a former version of CodeTwo Exchange Migration the license was attached to a personal email address. this was bad because, if the Primary address changed after first migration, the use needed to get a new license.
