The editor feels fast and familiar, so it’s never a hassle to just jump in and start working on problems. There’s a huge selection of coding challenges, and I like that you can pick different difficulty levels or focus on specific topics. What do you dislike about CodeSignal? I do get the sense that CodeSignal puts a lot of weight on how quickly I can finish challenges, which can get a bit stressful and take the focus away from writing really clear or thoughtful code. I also wish they provided more feedback after I solve something–just knowing I passed isn’t as helpful as learning alternative solutions or tips for optimization. For me, it’s helpful because I get a wide range of problems that are actually relevant to the kinds of programming interviews or assessments I might face. The platform takes the guesswork out of where to focus my practice, and by having everything in one place, I can track my progress over time. Also, since CodeSignal is recognized by employers, it gives me a way to demonstrate my skills objectively, which can really help with job applications. As a interview, it's really easy to test your code with your interviewee. When you are ready to run your code, either you or the interviewee can click the run button and both of you can see the output and debug/evaluate the results together. I did notice that CodeSignal's run code feature works significantly faster than others I've used before such as HackerRank and Leetcode's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about CodeSignal? CodeSignal's System Design functionality is not fully mature. When I was using it to draw arrows to connect boxes, sometimes the arrows would not associate themselves with the boxes and so the boxes would move without them.
