## CoderPad Reviews
  ### 1. A Truly Excellent Testing Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

In comparison to previous testing suites, CodinGame provides everything that we and our hiring community needs and more! It is clearly laid out, has a tremendous amount of functionality and is user-friendly. We are only touching the surface of what can be done.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

This is not so much of an area of improvement or a negative aspect but because there is so much you can do, it can be quite daunting to sit down and try and understand all of the functionality that is available to us and our teams!

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The hiring teams are invested in using CodinGame as they can clearly see how it can benefit us in identifying new talent and how we can go about testing their ability. It can be customized to their needs and is fast and responsive.

  ### 2. Great tool to assess basic programming skills

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

Codingame is a good tool for assessing programming skills. By no mean we consider it sufficient to hire good software engineers, so we also perform more interactive assessments in complementary interviews. But it is perfectly suitable to get a sense of some basic algorithmic and mastery of a given language. What I appreciate most:
- Ease to create campaigns in various programming languages
- Ease to check the assessment results
- Ease to get a sense of where the candidate is compared to the industry standards
- Very good questionnaire in Java and SQL

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Experience from mobile could really be improved on the admin UI, it is barely usable.
The coverage in terms of questions could be better in some technologies (cloud typically).

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Codingame to assess:
- basic knowledge of candidates in technologies of interest
- basic knowledge of candidates in algorithms
- expected level of autonomy
- next steps of the process
It helped us speed up the initial process of hiring process

  ### 3. Fun and Friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew H. | Service Desk Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

Excellent evaluation that doesn't feel boring with a good web-based IDE very similar to the tools you'd use offline. Fun and interesting questions with descriptive visuals but still have those ambiguous questions that don't highlight edge cases.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Having time limits for individual questions makes sense to limit some questions like multiple choice, but on the long-form questions where you're building a code solution finishing 40 minutes faster should award some extra time for the next question. Especially with programming, anyone can have their brain shut down entirely on them, and they need just to look away to reset. Most sites don't have something like this though, so it's not a big deal.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Snowed In used CodinGame for their assessment when I applied to their Junior Game Dev position. I realized my ability to be much greater than I anticipated when put in a situation to solve practical problems. In addition, it gave the engineers a tangible way to validate my claims about my experience.

  ### 4. Very good technical assessment tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cesar S. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

Large library with good quality questions that cover a lot of technologies. Also, we can create our own questions. What I liked the most is that we got unlimited assessments in an enterprise plan, which makes the tool useful not only for recruitment but also for continually evaluating our team for upskilling.

Another nice feature is random questions, which will automatically create unique tests per candidate. I like that random questions can be selected based on technology, skill, difficulty, and duration.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Some technologies we need are not covered. Anyways, you can create your own questions, if looking to evaluate for a not-so-common technology. (That's our workaround for now).

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruiting technical talent. We noticed that the evaluation scores are highly correlated to the outcomes of the interviews, so it's a very good indicator of the quality of the resource before engaging into an interview.

  ### 5. An amazing experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

The wide variety of programming languages that the platform can evaluate and the comparative score between candidates can give us an idea of their best sides in development (design, problem-solving and so on).

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

There should be a warning when someone tries to create a new campaign that already exists. In the majority of cases, we want to evaluate the candidates inside the same campaign to have a comparative score more accurate. If you don't pay enough attention easily you can duplicate campaigns.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can technically evaluate candidates after de application, even before the interview. We are trying to invest in the international market, so we need to be more demanding in this processes. There are lots of candidates interested, so we need to choose the better ones.

  ### 6. CodinGame for Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elie S. | Information Technology Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

This way we can create testing exams for knowledge check of possible hires for our jobs vacancies. exams and check knowledge.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

There is no interaction between the hiring personnel and the candidate. it is just like a straightforward process and sometimes we lost good candidates due to these tests because they didn't take them seriously and answered quickly.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Due to the lack of time and the pandemic and people had to work from home we were obliged to turn to a cloud-based solution to check possible recruits knowledge for work from home jobs

  ### 7. Unauthorized Charges

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2022

Fairly easy to test applicants but not perfect.

Predatory business practices. Activated our credit card on file despite the account being paused.

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

Very easy to use, a lot of tech covered for a basic need
Nice reporting
The test results can be reviewed easily

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

It misses one big functionality for our use: we have to recreate the same candidates each time we want to send him/her another test.
Some techs have only basic questions
High cost for the API version

**Recommendations to others considering CoderPad:**

good balanced choice between price and functionalities

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can offer our client a first assessment of our candidates and it allows us to be more efficient and save some valuable time.

  ### 11. Easy to use, and synthetic

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

the summarize dashboard, and the way you can send to a lot of people in one time

The fact that people could cheat when an other person pass the test. And may be more test concerning more topics, not only tech/

**Recommendations to others considering CoderPad:**

You can select candidates easily in a lot of tech topics.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Selecting skilled developers and data scientist. I have hired 2 junior developers with codingame services.

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

The people behind the platform, the ones who built the Codingame Platform, not only for work, but also for developers.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

I wouldn't have anything to say about this topic, otherwise I wouldn't give 10 ;)

**Recommendations to others considering CoderPad:**

Go for it

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Technical assessment and practical training for candidates before any technical challenge.

  ### 13. Client

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beeri S. | Chief People Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

the possibility to create new tests according to our needs

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

too many test duplicates : it could be improved by a better organization of tests with themes and categories

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Effective technical evaluation of candidates

  ### 15. Useful but I could do with more complex tests

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrien B. | Co-fondateur et CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

Easy to use interface
a good list of covered technologies

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

When I have to send different tests to one candidate I have to recreate the candidate (name, email), and I can't just reuse the existing candidates. In our context we may have to send 2 or 3 different tests to the same candidate (ex : node.js, react.js, PHP) without create one "Node-react-PHP" test campaign.

Some tests are not challenging enough and are only quiz (ex : SQL)

**Recommendations to others considering CoderPad:**

it's a useful tool to help assess technical profile.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A first technical evaluation of our candidates

  ### 16. Use to test student

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

Students sometimes practice Breton, which skews their real ability, but it's very rare.

  ### 17. CoderPad was the perfect solution for our Developers recruitemnt

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos P. | Talent and Culture Champion, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2020

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

How simple it is to use.
Our developers and People Operations team researched together for the perfect solution to test technical skills and critical thinking in the testing stage of the process for these profiles. Coder pad is so easy to use and understand that our recruiters can easily set it up for the actual testing stage of the process.
The best word that describes this tool is adaptable because anything can be done here.

I also like that we only pay for it when we need to use it, our recruitment is not really high volume so we usually pay for the months when we are recruiting.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

I do not dislike any major things so far.
I am not a developer but our team really likes the interface, layout, practicality, dynamism of the platform. The team found the tool a lot more adaptable for our recruitment process and that was the one that stuck with us as the best option.
I will be nice however to create automated sections that allow for the recruiters or Human Resources team to be a little more independent in taking ownership of the process. A comprehensive scoring system that can be applied to any test and complemented it with the final score of the hiring manager.

**Recommendations to others considering CoderPad:**

Just have a developer involved in the process. There are still no tools that I know that can really test a developer in a quality process that does not require involvement from the hiring managers.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we are recruiting our full-stack developers we use this tool.
We like that we can stay pro and go to stand by when we are not using it as we are not recruiting all year round. We are now more efficient and don't have to overcomplicate the process of testing and testing over again all of our candidate's skills on the job.

  ### 18. easy to use, reliable, useful recording feature

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

live coding to see what applicant is doing is great; ability to take private notes, ability to playback

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

sometimes syncing is slow, keybindings and autocomplete isn't the best

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we use coderpad for technical interviews. the playback option is very good to jog the memory of what the applicant's performance was.

  ### 19. Magnificent for remote assessment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MOHAMED S. | Sous-directeur, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Conduct my job interviews remotely

  ### 20. An easy way to sourcing, test candidates, and engaging developers with challenges and events.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Salvador M. | Lead Development Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

What I do like the best, as VP of engineering, is the candidates' exam platform. It makes my life easier. The ready-to-go tests are fantastic and the report is really valuable, it is giving me a very solid starting point to survey a candidate for a new position.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

I don't really have a bad point to give, to be honest, but probably I would say CodinGame is not as known in Spain as in other countries as France. So, sourcing is not really useful for me.

**Recommendations to others considering CoderPad:**

If you are looking for a cool hiring all-you-need platform CodinGame is the best option so far!

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The possibility of testing the candidate's skills! the testing platform is awesome. And of course, challenges are giving us an extra tool to engaging our engineers while they are learning a lot.

  ### 21. Very useful tool to assess technical profiles

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

The speed and simplicity in sending tests

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

the fact that we cannot share all the details with candidates

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the simplicity to assess tech profiles when you are not a tech person

  ### 22. a great knowleadge measurement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

the detailed instructions about the tasks ahead

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

the fast paced tasks and not having a test phase

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

currrently i have used it to be graded in a job application process

  ### 23. Good experience.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cédric A. | Software engineer

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

User interface. It's clear, well balanced.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Fews bugs on auto completion. Tests may be a little too simple, but that could be understood as the tests should go on a time window and should not weigth too much on recruits.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruits qualification.

  ### 24. Excellent tool for technical assessment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

The set of quality questions available is Excellent. The platform is excellent to set hiring contest. The platform is easy to use with simple user interface.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Some minor functionalities should be improved like auto moving to next question after typing the submit button.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's an excellent tool to hire good talent as it has good no of conceptual questions that helps us to hire the right candidate with right skill.

  ### 25. Successful candidate test application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Umut A. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 25, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

I think, test questions were good. It was important to have timed questions determined separately for each question.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Time was sufficient for knowledge questions. But I think some more time is needed for code outpu questions.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I realized my shortcomings.

  ### 26. Good tool to screen candidates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

Multiple languages are available to use based on user preference.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

The user monthly limit in new pads, makes it a bit limited for an organization.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used to screen candidates to test their coding knowledge/skills.

  ### 27. Good for interviewers, but doesn't test a candidate accurately

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohit S. | Data Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

I like the editor and that the interviewer and candidate can work at the same time.
It reduces the chances of hiring someone who has no idea what they are doing.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

I don't like the compiler, sometimes it is difficult to code in coderpad than in the real world.
In coderpad, you are judged a bit too much on how you code.
Often good candidates cannot adapt to the coderpad environment

**Recommendations to others considering CoderPad:**

Everyone has to learn to use some form of online IDE. Atleast coderpad has a trial you can use before the interview.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Live coding assessments. It does help reduces the chance of hiring incompetent candidates.

  ### 28. The fastest way to learn about candidates' skills

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2022

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

The test report with the skills of the candidate.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Nothing at the moment, I think it is very good...

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time savings and greater accuracy to test the candidate...

  ### 29. Hiring process can be fun. Using this platform.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrei-Bogdan P. | Software engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

Simple, friendly and very intuitive UI. Very well organized as well.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

I used this platform only once (today), and I remember searching for a question flag option, but I didn't find it. Please include a flag option for each question so that you can quickly come back to specific questions whose answer you were unsure about.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So far, I have done some technical (software programming) and also aptitude assessments.

  ### 30. CodinGame works well for recruitment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan L. | Engineering Jobseeker & Entrepreneur, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

I loved the simple, robust UI design. I immediately knew how to use it so that I could turn my energy towards the questions.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

I wasn't sure how the answers should be formatted since most of the questions didn't specify and every system is different. This may have marked me wrong when I had the correct answer.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not using CodinGame for my own business but a few companies I have applied to work for have used it.

  ### 31. A gamified approach to hiring

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno M. | VP Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

The UI is top-notch, as well as the reports. We can see precisely which dimensions are being covered by the talents and follow-up. The tool suits most of our hiring needs out of the box and customisation is also easy. Also, the involvement of developers in periodic challenges is another plus point for this platform.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

The library is not as extensive as we'd like it to be, but you can customise your questions, which is good. We haven't had enough time to explore the interview modules but it also looks promising.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to automate our hiring process and eliminate hidden biases. We want to save our people time and also to provide a consistent candidate experience across multiple positions and many hires.

  ### 32. CodinGame is the right test platform for all your need

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

Spending less time reviewing code produced by candidates.
Having a synthetic view of the results of all the candidates of a recruitment campaign.
The large amount of pre-made questions and the ability to create custom ones, on several programming languages.
As a candidate, tests are enjoyable, being a mix of multi-choice questionnaire and puzzle games solved by programming.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

To send a technical test the candidates email is needed. When there's a middleman (consultancy firm or else), it's a bit annoying.
One workaround is to send yourself the test and transmit the link.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spending less time on filtering candidates that doesn't fit the technical requirements for our open positions.
Helping with testing candidates on technologies we are not expert with.

  ### 34. An excellent online tool for assessing applicants - developers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivana M. | HR manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

We use the CodinGame online tool in our hiring to screen job applicants - developers who want to work for our company.
Everything is very simple, setting up an online test is easy, as is inviting candidates. Setting up an email invitation and expiring after 14 days is good.
The evaluation of the success of the candidates is clear and helps us a lot in the decision-making process.
We also welcome information about the timeline of the test - when and where the test began and when it ended.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Nothing at all. We really like this tool.

**Recommendations to others considering CoderPad:**

Go for it! We regret nothing.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the tool in the recruitment process. The evaluation of the success of the candidates is clear and helps us a lot in the decision-making process.

  ### 35. Great platform for recruiting developers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

Just recently they added a new feature - video recording when the applicant leaves the coding environment. That way recruiters can easily see how much time the applicant spent coding each task, and how many times he left the environment (and for how long he was gone). That is super interesting and very useful.
Other than that, platform is easy to use, with appealing desing.
The good thing is that it sends reminders to candidates so you don't have to.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Can't say so far, I've been using it for 3 months now, and it's really helpful in my day to day work.

**Recommendations to others considering CoderPad:**

If you're a recruiter with many opened positions in development struglling to find the perfect fit - try CG.
If you're a technical person, developer or manager without HR support, seeking additional resources for recruiting - try CG.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When having a great number of applicants for a role, by sending the CodinGame test you can easily find the best ones, scoring more on the test, or compared to your other applicants (it also compares each test with every other within that group, you ever sent). That way you can easily choose who to call for another interview and not waste time screening too many candidates.

  ### 36. easier to test developers thanks to this platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

I love the fact that we can test an unlimited amount of tech candidates, on top of being able to compare scores within a campaign, or against all the developers ever tested (comparative score).
I also like the interface, and the customer support.
They've added a sourcing feature which is very promising. I had a couple of interviews thanks to this, and with a very limited amount of money invested, compared to the cost of an agency.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

not much actually. I'd say maybe the number of languages available, although most of the time it fits my requirements.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i'm able to find out about a developer before hiring him/her. This saves me a LOT of time, and in the same time, i'm spending less money too in recruitment agnecies. I was also able to test the sourcing feature, and this promises to save even more money in the future.

  ### 37. We can easily filter potential applicants. The random interview questions are amazing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

The random interview questions are amazing. And I like the report about the test too.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Nothing, I like every feature. For me, CodinGame is more than enough.

**Recommendations to others considering CoderPad:**

It's very easy to use.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't need to create a test for interviews.

  ### 38. Great program to test candidates during interview

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

Ease of use, language options, ability to access post test, sandbox function to help both interviewers and candidates get comfortable with the system prior to use.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Some languages not accessible, but there are still plenty to choose from.

**Recommendations to others considering CoderPad:**

Send the sandbox details to all interviewers and interviewees to make sure everyone is well prepared for actual use. This is a great feature to utilize!

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to technically assess candidates during the interview process in a hands on way. Interviewers can get a better sense of a candidates coding abilities in live time.

  ### 39. Great software for tech recruitment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santiago D. | Senior Technical Recruiter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

That it's robust yet simple to use, getting things done in a simple and reliable way is much appreciated in a busy and hectic environment such as tech recruitment.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

There are too many new technologies popping up every day, sometimes I get the need of hiring someone with a skillets I can't find in the tool. But for most typical languages and technologies I feel covered.

**Recommendations to others considering CoderPad:**

If you are looking for a tech tests software you want to keep CodinGame as an option.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Screening candidates with this tool first is a great time saver.

  ### 40. Condingame really help to get to know the technical knowledge of our candidates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

The possibility of customizing the questions
Easy visualization and interface, even for someone that's not from the technical area

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

I would like to have the possibility of importing candidates from CVS files in my plan.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to do a technical screen of a high number of candidates in a short period.

  ### 41. Great for non-technical RH

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

I would highly recommend Codingame. As a non-technical person (I am not a developer), I am able to send and interpret results in a very easy manner.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

I had a hard time finding the right test to send to my candidates but I guess that is because a lot of tests have been created by my company.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a very specific HR problem, which was waste of time and human ressources. Before Codingame, we used to ask tech applicants to come to our offices, sit and make a hand-made test. This required having enough material (available computer in our open space) and enough human time (available developers to set up the test).

  ### 42. Good for learnign but time is a bit too short

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

varied challenges that tests various accepts of logical thinking

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Time constraint is a bit too low in my opinion

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

C++ problems just for keeping practice of coding in the said language and to clear interview coding challenges

  ### 43. A great tool for remote hiring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Federico B. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2020

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

very easy to setup campaigns with relevant questions and exercises, and very easy to track candidates. In COVID era we are facing the challenge to hire candidates remotely, and we missed a way to perform a good technical assessment not being in the same room with the candidate. Codingame is the perfect fit for that.
Our next step will be to use it with our internal employee as a tool useful for training and performance management

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

No significant downsides. I'd like to see actual score alongside comparative score.

**Recommendations to others considering CoderPad:**

Our recommendation is to handle with care the test results. This is a tool, a great tool, but there can be a lot of reason why a good candidate doesn't perform well.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to perform a good technical test for remote hiring

  ### 44. Very good candidate testing platform.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

I liked the IDE, the code completion, the UI, and the questions.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Nothing in particular. I liked most of it.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the best platform for quickly evaluating and filtering candidates.

  ### 45. screening and sourcing made easy (really)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Animation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

the fact that i can source developers, then test them on the same platform. It's a game changer.
Also, i'm able to get an very nice insight on the level of the candidates by looking at the score (they compare with whoever took a test on this platform).
They have started to integrate games too instead of problems, which makes it a lot more fun for develoepers/candidates.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

it's a bit expensive for small companies, but i can't work without this tool now i've tried it !

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i'm taking no risk in selecting my future team. I'm spending less money over the year.

  ### 46. Easy to use assessment tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gurpreet S. | Specialist Programmer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

very intuitive and easy to write coding blocks

some intelligent suggestions were not popping up for java language

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

Easy and quick to use even for people who haven't got technical skills
Possibly to change the time for the questions
Possibly to mix differents quizz
Variety of questions

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Difficulty to understand the result of the candidate.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Neither for the moment

  ### 49. candidate's experience enhanced thanks to gamified assessments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

The gamified tests are what makes it a lot more fn for our candidates. Very impressive feedback when it comes to how it went during the actual test.
Comparative score is also very helpful

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

number of languages and quantity of questions could probably be improved, also there are more and more every months.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to test more candidates and to shortlist only the best ones. We can also compare them against more developers thanks to the comparison score.

  ### 50. Good Psychometric Assessment, but time for answers is not balanced for easy and hard questions

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2021

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

I liked the challenging questions. Where you can apply logic, I didn't like questions where you need to guess why there are certain shapes and numbers displayed

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

I didn't like the questions with different shapes and figures, sometimes with numbers or other shapes inside. It's hard to guess what logic is to have these objects displayed this way

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I completed Psychometric Assessment for a job role
