  ### 10. Review after several Test with Employers in the platform of CoderPad

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel Fernando S. | Fullstack software developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

CoderPad provided a smooth and professional environment for conducting technical coding interviews with good collaboration features.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

Occasionally there can be minor lag during peak usage times, and some advanced IDE features that developers are used to (like advanced autocomplete or debugging tools) are not available. The pricing might be on the higher side for smaller companies. Sometimes the interface could benefit from more customization options for different interview styles

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoderPad solves the challenge of conducting effective remote technical interviews by providing a shared coding environment that eliminates the need for candidates to set up development environments or share screens awkwardly. It streamlines the interview process by combining video calls, real-time code collaboration, and immediate code execution in one platform. This benefits me by making technical assessments more efficient and professional - I can focus on evaluating coding skills and problem-solving abilities rather than dealing with technical setup issues. The platform also helps standardize the interview experience across different candidates, making it easier to compare skills fairly. Additionally, the ability to save and review coding sessions afterward is valuable for making informed hiring decisions and providing feedback to team members involved in the interview process.

Real-World Simulation: It supports live collaboration, so an interviewer and candidate can debug a failing test case together. This better mirrors how pair programming works on the job, instead of treating the interview like an isolated exam.

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

I recently took an exam on CoderPad and was impressed with its advanced features, especially for image detection coding. It’s well-suited for real-world coding assessments and helped me focus on problem-solving without distractions.

  ### 36. good platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishnu M. | Software Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about CoderPad?**

What I like best about CoderPad is how seamlessly it mimics a real coding environment during interviews. It allows for real-time collaboration, supports multiple languages, and includes features like syntax highlighting and running code — which makes it easy to demonstrate not just the solution, but the thought process behind it. It keeps the interview focused on problem-solving rather than tooling friction.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

One thing I dislike about CoderPad is that it can sometimes feel limiting compared to a full-fledged IDE — especially when working on more complex problems that require advanced debugging, file structuring, or libraries that aren’t supported out of the box. Additionally, network lag or rendering delays can slightly affect the real-time collaboration experience.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoderPad solves the problem of assessing real-world coding skills in a live, collaborative setting. It replaces theoretical or multiple-choice assessments with practical, hands-on coding tasks, which helps interviewers better evaluate problem-solving and communication. For me, it streamlines the interview process by allowing me to demonstrate my thinking clearly and code in a familiar environment — making the experience more natural and fair.

I like that it can be translated into different languages and that it also offers the possibility to be resolved in a gamified environment. This makes the experience more accessible and entertaining for users.

**What do you dislike about CoderPad?**

I consider that the time is quite short, although I understand that pressure is something common in many jobs.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facilitate that the tests can be conducted in different places around the world, which represents an advantage for the applicants, as it is not necessary for them to travel to a specific location. In this way, they can take the evaluations comfortably from their homes.

**What problems is CoderPad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When interviewing candidates, they have to code - and usually that means setting up an IDE or asking them to share their screen - which sometimes they're reluctant to do.
